You\'ve got me wrong, I think racism sucks arse. I just see it as innacurate for someone white to be played by someone black, surely someone else could do just as good-a-job as Morgan Freeman.

Edit: I posted this in a rush before reading the rest, cheers LIC :)

What if they brought back Rush Hour for a 3rd time, I believe they are too, but replaced Chris Tucker with a white guy? How many black people would be pissed? Even if the guy was funnier, they\'d be sueing the movie and shit for this kind of crap, they\'d probably think it was racist.

That wouldn\'t work as a lot of \'I\'m black, you\'re white\' jokes are used.

Hmmm, is Jackie Chan white?  I don\'t think so.  Maybe you should have said "I\'m black, you\'re Chinese."

This is great... I think Steve Jobs must love being in the movie business.  He\'s got the trash talkin\' down, that\'s for sure.

In today\'s Hollywood Reporter:

Pixar swims off with $84 mil Q4

Jobs uses results to jab at Disney

By Marla Matzer Rose

Fueled by the mega-success of "Finding Nemo," Pixar Animation Studios\' fourth-quarter earnings nearly quintupled to $83.9 million for the period ending Jan. 3, compared with $17 million for the comparable period the previous year, the company said Wednesday.

Pixar\'s results _ coming just six days after the company announced it had severed contract talks with longtime partner the Walt Disney Co. after failing to reach a new agreement _ gave Pixar chairman and CEO Steve Jobs a platform to make some pointed comments regarding Disney and the failed negotiations.

"The Pixar brand is more important" in drawing audiences today than the fabled and much more established Disney brand in animation, Jobs said. He went on to say that such recent Disney animated releases as "Brother Bear" have "bombed" because the company had lost sight of the fact that "the quality of a movie is more important than the marketing."

He also took Disney chairman and CEO Michael Eisner to task for predicting that "Nemo" _ which became last year\'s top-grossing film _ would tank at the boxoffice. "As you know, things turned out a bit different," Jobs said.

I hope that batman indimitation is badass, and i know it will be. also, the costume is "leather with kevlar armour" and the ears are small and on the side like in the original comics.

Isn\'t Marvel affiliated with Universal in some way?  I know all of their comic books are represented at the Universal theme park.

With that, I doubt if Pixar would be able to win the rights to one of those since they are Disney and a chief rival.

Although Pixar hasn\'t signed with Disney again have they?  Aren\'t they still looking?

To answer your question - Marvel is lookin at PIXAR for the films. It\'s a mutual attraction.

Looking forward to this. The casting sounds pretty good and I have a lot of faith in Nolan. Bring it on.

Liam Neeson has been confirmed to be casted as a villian. Common sense points out that he is either a dirty cop or Ra Al Ghul.
