I agree with all but RE0 is not that bad:confused: , RE3 (Nemesis) was the worst in the series.  I think that RE0 at least explained where all the crap began and it gives us good reason to why Rebecca is in RE1...and alive for that matter.  (I must agree that Billy is a waste [2 person senario], could at least have used one of the caracters that are killed in RE1... besides that it was really enjoyable.)

It\'s like saying, "Buy MGS1 it is the best ever!!!...but don\'t buy MGS2 it is a great let down rather wait for MGS3!!!"  If the game did not get up to par then so be it, but some of us just love following the storyline.:D

ditto

As far as RE goes, Code Veronica was one of the gayest games ive played in a long while. It was ok due to the fact that i was bored with a lot of games then but i tried to do everything to get me even remotely scared. Didnt work. Kinda lame story ie shit

I thought RE 3 was much better than 0...

Nemesis is the coolest RE villain, next to Wesker and tied w/ Alexia...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

(1) Not sure how I forgot about Code Veronica, as I played that game countless times. Loved it. Great game.

(2) Honestly, I cannot find any redeeming factors with RE0. The story was boring, the new creatures was terrible and every change of gameplay was made for the worse. Where as RE3 at least had Nemesis who was a great addition to the series.

I\'ve yet to play the RE series. I\'ve seen them played and stuff but never played. I\'ll get them eventually.

Just a heads up: MGS:TS got 8/8.5/9 in EGM.

They said it\'s obviously the definitive version of MGS.. but it\'s not different enough in some ways. They actually say that the differences that are there aren\'t handled correctly. For example, the environments aren\'t tweaked.. so the enhanced A.I. isn\'t being catered to. They also say that first-person aiming makes the game too easy.

I\'m not sure if I\'m going to rent or buy this one. My MG experience is limited to a rental of MGS2 and some play-time with the MGS1 demo.. and based on those things I thought Splinter Cell was better.

I personally didnt like SPlinter Cell as much as MGS.Ok it had more detailed graphics, it had new moves, it was bigger, it had more gameplay than MGS but it lacked character. It lacked the substance I found in MGS.The plot was the game. Its not just a story to make a game.Hideo Kojima tried to give depth to the game.He wanted to make a game that isnt just a game.
Also the characters truelly had their own personality. And Raiden although hated (who would have expected to play a weaker and feminine looking hero than Snake most part of the game?) he had a personality of his own as well.
The bad guys werent the typical terrorists that want to conquer the world, want money etc.
They also have beliefs. They are also tragic heroes. You see from everyone\'s point of view. And I applaud Hideo Kojima\'s effort. He is a genius. If only he spent more time with the game and made it more perfect....The plot was superb.Too bad the gameplay part was too short and made people impatient and anxious to skip the convesrations and cut scenes to play thus they didnt feel like showing any interest for the story.

Totally agree, Splinter Cell was good but (in my eyes) not the best.  Hideo is a genius and the day he leaves the games industry it will be a really sad day:(

MGS is a lot better than SC. SC is a good game nonetheless but MGS is a much better experience IMO. Twin Snakes looks ok, too bad I\'ve completed the original MGS like 5-6 times.

I\'m looking forward to Snake Eater.
