That\'s weird, I\'ve never heard that.

I like Nintendo because I can\'t handle mature themes and adult content.

My mom doesn\'t let me play Doom or Super Street Fighter 3 Alpha II Turbo.

What is it with gamers and realistic graphics? Ninty did release mature games, but still the image persists. I will only mention Animal Crossing... super cool game. Which anyone can play. Brilliant graphics (I kid you not!). I do not like Ninty\'s stance with regard to crime sims. The Cube is only a medium with the possibility to create mature and kiddie games. In the end it is only zeroes and ones in the machine.

*ahem*

I did not mention \'Metriod Prime\', because it sucked. Plain and simple. It was very over-rated, even more so than GTA: Vice City and we all know how bad I hate that series...   It was a FPS, with glitches and a FPS that butchered the franchise.

Blade, SMS did suck. I\'m not bashing Nintendo, fact is I love Nintendo and I even took a day off work when SMS came out, but guess what? None of that changed the fact it sucked.

With all that said, please, someone mention \'Eternal Darkness\', so I can go on a rant on how bad that game sucked .

Bring on Pikimin2, Nintendo!

bah..nintendo will always have that kiddie image..it\'s been like that since day 1 even with res evil & other mature games on it..the mature consoles are playstation & xbox..as ignorant as that sounds it\'s true..i will say one of the greatest nintendo games of all time was mike tyson\'s punchout! :p

Their kiddy looking games aren\'t for kids. No way a 9 year old kid could successfully finish Pikmin. Oh yeah, he\'d finish it but not with the good ending. Getting all the parts was hard enough for me.

Kids play violent games too. Makes them cool.

Past the age of say, 7, games are games. Play the good ones.

It\'s only those littlest of kids whose parents typically only buy Crash Bandicoots and Shreks.

Think what you will of Nintendo or any of its games in particular, but the bottom line is the Gamecube has enough good games to be worthwhile. So does PS2 and Xbox is finally there too, in my opinion.

Buy a console (or two or three) and enjoy it.

I bought three...

(1) Xbox for a few exclusives and the best looking multi-platform games.

(2) NGC - For those first party games.

(3) PS2 - For all those big titles that are Sony exclusives, like DMC.

Got a GC and PS2 and must say that I enjoy Nintendo games as much as I enjoy PS2 games.  Games are games, just look past that "kiddy" culture surrounding the GC and you\'ll have the best gaming years of your life.

...now, if only I got a Xbox as well (Seeing that MS never brought it to South Africa it makes thing difficult for us.)

ED has had Pikmin 2 as "Coming soon" for almost a year now. Every time I walk in and see it, a single tear forms in my eye. I want it so much. :(

Oh, and I really enjoyed Metroid Prime. :)

That\'s about all I have to say about that.
