After playing around with firefox it does have a few problems. One major problem is with Java. Stupid browser has issues with java.

^^^amen. Though part of the blame has to go to the programmers. The apps are designed with the mainstream in mind.

I couldn\'t ship out a package using usps.com\'s java print thingy so I had to use IE. I\'m pretty damn sure if the people who designed the website had Mozilla in mind it would have worked without a hitch.

Using Sun Java should solve the problem anyway. But the browser isn\'t very compatible.

ive been using it for most of the day today and im not liking it to much
but then again im a microsoft whore so it wouldnt matter anyway

It said I had to download a plugin for it, when I downloaded it and tried to run it, it said it couldn\'t open it.

If you reinstall the java plugin, it works perfectly. That\'s how I fixed it.

How can you reinstall something that wasn\'t installed in the first place?

While in Firefox, install the java stuff and all should work out fine.

If only it was that easy.

Certain java sites don\'t like firefox. its a problem that is currently being fixed by the developers. http://www.gameknot.com blitz chess has major problems (for example) with firefox\'s java. I\'ve tried everything from uninstalling/reinstalling both java and firefox, using other versions of java to Reg Key patches. Its simply a problem with the browser. If u have Msjava installed it just adds to the problems.

Weird. Well, for the person having problems with USPS, I no longer do after installing java through firefox.
