You should read up on it, the latest impressions have been extremely promising.

As for Forza - god i hated that game. I played it a week or so ago and the control was pretty shitty on both controllers that they had (both were in good condition) and it just wasnt all that exciting. Rallisport Challenge 1/2 was great - Project Gotham 2 was alright but this blew it hard.

People have different opinions but only a few games (at least that you mentioned) have seemed promising.

I\'ve heard mixed impressions on the Forza demo.  I don\'t like sim racers so I got bored with it really fast.

mm,
GTA:SA
UK as of November 10th- one million
NPD numbers- October = 2,053,983/November = 1,536,301

Total = 4,590,284
I can\'t find any other numbers

MS claims Halo 2 has sold 5 million world wide.

"claims" is the key word

GTA:SA is outselling halo 2
just look at the user base, it\'s like 75+ million to 15 million (rough estimate, again i dont care enough to go check)

Hard to tell without up to date worldwide figures.  Fact is they both sold and contintue to sell extremely well.

Sony estimates that GTA:SA will sell through 15 million units.
MS estimates Halo 2 will sell through 10 million units.

whats exactly the point?gta:sa has sold a lot more than many other great games.
Does that prove that Halo2\'s sales arent good?

NPD sales data.  I usually come across them at TeamXbox or Gaming Age Forums.

I haven\'t checked into it but supposedly those Xbox numbers are wrong for the month of November.  The real numbers were better, I think 749,000.  I don\'t care to check into it so I\'ll just leave it at that.

49,000 isnt any small number if you ask me.  Sounds odd to me.

And in terms of sales (gta vs H2) - it doesnt really matter. Its interesting to see the numbers but sales dont make any game good no matter how you look at it.
