Formerly known as Fahrenheit eh. Yeah looked promising 4 years back too.

I dunno... they changed the visual style quite a bit. I see alot of saturated colors now. Back then, it looked better.

I can understand getting rid of the name \'Fahrenheit\' but I\'d change it into Celcius then instead of Indigo prophecy.

tru enough..i don\'t mind the graphics tho....looks good enough for me...and it seems it\'s some type of horror joint on the level of the silent hill series...weirdness/suspense/mystery...and that\'s right up my alley. if the gameplay is decent and the story is strong, i\'ll cop it...

Oh I was trying to think of the name of this.

This game sounds fantastic. You play through the game, alternating between characters.

You control a guy who committed a murder, stabbing someone in a restaurant bathroom. But he did it almost in a trance and he realizes what he\'s done and tries to hide it before finding out what possessed him to do that.

You also control the detectives trying to find him.

To fulfill the story, you have to be skilled enough with the criminal to leave few enough clues to evade capture, but skilled enough with the detectives to stay on the trail of the killer.

In the opening scene you can hide the body and the murder weapon to gain some time, and clean up the blood with a mop.

If you don\'t, as the detective that\'ll be a huge clue right there. There are actually two detectives, each with a different eye for different clues. So you play as each, using the joysticks primarily (a la Fight Night) to observe and inspect stuff. Press up to glance in a medicine cabinet, down to look down at the sink.

The detective will ask the waitress if she remembers anyone suspicious. If you ran out of the bathroom and fled the scene without paying your bill, she\'ll obviously remember you and help with a composite sketch.

But if you were calm, finished your meal, paid your bill and walked out, she\'ll never remember your face.

In conversation, you have to choose what you say quickly. And you don\'t read the whole response, just a topic of what you\'re going to say. If you\'re being questioned, you have to react quickly without slipping up or revealing too much.

I am excited about this game because it\'s such a unique idea, and really seems fun to me.

I agree about the colors, but I\'ll take the graphics for the innovative gameplay any day.

Just watched the trailer.

The hooded guy has something to do with what caused him to commit the crime. There\'s definitely some paranormal shit in there, too, and it looks like a lot of frantic action escaping capture. They use reaction-based joystick controls to make sudden evasive movements, keeping players involved, even in cutscenes. Kind of like in RE4.

The split-screen effects show you what\'s going on elsewhere while you keep playing in the main window. You can be paying for your check in the restaurant and the game will show you the guard getting up to use the bathroom in the second window. Then as you\'re trying to get out discreetly, you\'ll know you\'re only seconds away from being discovered.

Im surprised that anybody else has found interest in this game. Ive been looking at it for a while and it looks interesting. Definately not overly conventional.

I get the same vibe from this as i do from this other game that was supposed to be out a long time ago 2000-2001 or so. It was an outer space suspense game played from multiple perspectives i think. I wish i could remember the name.

Anyway, i think ill give it a rental.

*EDIT: the other game was called Phase Paradox

just picked up indigo prophecy last week, and finished it....all i have to say is,..sleeper hit...the concept of the game is brilliant,..you\'re actually playing against yourself, as you\'re the perpetraitor and the hero,.... graphics aren\'t the best, but they get the job done....excellent storyline,..it actually keeps you wantin\' to know more about what\'s goin on and you actually care about all of the characters...only drawback to this game is that it\'s too short and towards the end of the game, it doesn\'t tie up everything completely,..the romance at the end of the game feels REALLY forced...shame because with a bit more polish to the storyline, this game would\'ve gotten a ten from me.....as it is now i\'d give it a solid 9.0....
