80 bucks for a cable. Insane.
Mine was free because they threw it into the bag for me at Sears when I bought my HDTV/surround sound/DVD player so maybe you should all do the same and blow thousands of dollars at once like I did. It\'s the way to go. However, it\'s good I really only need one cable at this point as swapping out HDMI cables at the back of the TV would probably drive me insane after getting used to having tons of component and AV jacks on the TV. My DVD player supports HDMI, but I\'m probably scrapping that thing after I get the PS3 in favor of blu-ray and space since the PS3 plays... everything except HD-DVD. Blu-Ray player + DVD player + PS2 = PS3, yay for more shelf space. *buys hefty warranty anticipating the laser to burn out before the two year mark*
