I\'ve played a few Schecters and they\'re very nice guitars. I think you\'ll enjoy the hell out of this.

The only thing I haven\'t liked about the (very few) Schecters I\'ve played is the neck profile. They tend to be somewhat thick and I prefer thin necks.

That being said, the neck on my Strat is far from being the thinnest but it is in my opinion perfect, super smooth, I love it.

it\'s an 81/89 set according to the specs. The man should get some mean distortion from those.

Gloss black, yea the\'re 81 / 89 EMGs.  Sounds great.

yeah, there\'s a lot of people who complain about EMG\'s lacking tone, but... what do they know. Granted, not the best clean tone, but that\'s not what they\'re for. I have an 81 set in my ESP Eclipse, love them.

Don\'t have a pic of it handy, so I\'ll just post my Horizon. They\'re my twins, they have the same red quilt top.
