Sony will focus on the March lineup.

Sega..Sega ads just kicks ass in general.

I may watch the superbowl just for the ads.

I doubt Nintendo would sink that much money on a console thats on its way out the door it just doesn\'t sound like a good business move.

CSK does have a lot of money but Sega has been in the red for a while and a couple of ads during the superbowl won\'t change that. No doubt we will see some sega ads but not as much as Microsoft and Sony.

As for the price of the ads. It goes by the length of the commercial. It is not a flat rate because some people have minute long videos.

Well strong rumors say MS commercial will feature Raven and the Mech doing a dance on a PS2 and laughing about it as they wipe there hands.

that sounds like MS\'s style to me.

Nintendo will focus I bet on Gameboy advanced

Sega well I\'m sure they\'ll toss in a couple of ads

and of course Sony\'s re-launch will be its focus

"The PlayStation 2 will even get into the act, teaming with Dan Dierdorf (not to be confused with Duff Bowl superstar Dan Beerdorf) to bring the coach\'s chalkboard into a virtual realm. Dan and his colleagues will analyze play with the PS2 technology, making the telestrator all but obsolete."

Sony already defeated eveybody\'s marketing plans with this little stunt. While Sega, Nintendo, and Microsoft advertize themselves during breaks, Sony advertizes Ps2 during the game. Geniuses!

I think it will be fairly interesting to find out what MS will do in thier commercials.  I don\'t buy into the rumor of their characters dancing on a PS2.  That really doesn\'t sound like something that Microsoft would do.  They might put in a end user licence agreement with some umbeleivable stuff, but I don\'t think they are going to advertize like that.

As for Sega, I don\'t think they will have an incredible amount of money to spend on advertizing, and I doubt CSK is going to do mutch for them as they have been in the red for the past 4 years.  They have allot of financial problems.

As for Sony, well I don\'t know what to expect from them.  They did their job with the Playstation very well.  They didn\'t do anything really stupid with that system.  Sega and Nintendo both made some rather stupid mistakes, do of course Sony won.  On the other hand, with the PS2 they have made some mistakes that will cost them.  Sometimes they do extreamely well, and sometimes they make moves that are made of pure stupidity.  I don\'t know what to expect of them.  It should be interesting to see.

Nintendo?  Well, they might advertise Game Boy Advance.  They need to hype up their next system.  That is a part of being succesfull in the video gaming industry, especially when it comes to the console end of things.

Microsoft knows how to separate themselves from the pack. They know that the only ads that stand out after the SuperBowl are the wild and/or funny commercials. It has to be something extremely different for it to stand out.
