Hmmm, well chrono, I don\'t have any programming nor
real hardware knowledge, but what jiggs maybe is
trying to say is that with this new generation of game
consoles gamedevelopement is increasingly complex;
more time/effort intensive.
Personally, especially because I live in Europe, the big
PS2 games\' release dates do need getting used to.
This of course also has to do with PS2 shortages which
triggered several games to be delayed.
I just read this interview on IGN cube on Giles Goddard
who worked at Nintendo for a long time and is currently
busy at Video System for their PS2 F1 game.
He has extensive programming knowledge and he pointed out
some differences between NGC and PS2.
He also pointed out, what he believes to be, the bottlenecks PS2 has.
I don\'t conlude from that immediately, but it\'s interesting to think about.
That\'s also because my PS2 is still waiting for the big apps
like the Getaway and Onimusha ( the latter one in Summer for
us Europeans ).
