AC4 PERFECTED IT.


WHAT MY POINT IS THAT I THINK THAT THERE WILL BE ALMOST IF ANY DIFFERENCE IN NEXT-GEN GRAPHICS.  ALL OF IT MAY RELY ON EFFECTS AND GAMEPLAY.  AND NAME.

EFFECTS: PS2, GC, AND XBOX ALL HAVE QUITE A FEW ON HARDWARE.  BUT WHAT PS2 DOSEN\'T HAVE CAN BE DONE IN SOFTWARE BECAUSE OF THE VU\'S WITHOUT A SIGNIFICANT HIT ON HARDWARE.  XBOX AND GC DOES HAVE MORE HARDWARE EFFECTS I THINK.

GAMEPLAY: UP TO THE DEVELOPERS

NAME:SEGA, GONE  SONY, HUGE NAME  NINTENDO, PARENTS REFER TO ALL GAME SYSTEMS AS NINTENDO (THAT TELLS YOU SOMETHING), MICROSOFT, MOST PEOPLE HATE, SOME LIKE.

Man,About 4 years from now U will see graphics on the PS2 that makes the Ace combat 4 look like ****.
We havent seen anything yet, MGS2 is not even close to matching the PS2 power, Kojima said that they dont have time to do MGS2 better looking but they can if their had time, but 2001 is the year of the snake in Japan so MGS2 has to come out this year.

And I can\'t tell, really! I\'m not short sighted, or bad sighted or anything.

That\'s amazing. That reveals some powers of the PS2.

AC4 looks pretty sweet...

Ummmm, fanboy or not, those shots were impressive, but the  preview trailer sucks.  No in-****pit shots, just flyby\'s showing limited terrain.  I hope the gameplay is as good as the looks though.  Namco does know their stuff (except for maybe RRV).

Oh and enough with the CAPS already~!!

It looks great but I have to disagree with one thing;  Nothing touches the cars of GT3.

But no matter how hard you plea, no matter how much sense you make there will be people on all sides of the fence that must prove they\'re choice is/was the best one


I believe there will be differences just not as extreme as some console war Zealots believe.

IMO its just a great time to be a gamer and its going to get alot better.

Or better yet if it takes to long to develop those fantastic games. Certain games on PC have taken two to three years to develop and these new next gen consoles are no different. DC has most likely been the easiest to dev for PS2 on the other hand takes a little more effort to work with which means longer dev times to get the results you want, heck Drakan and Starfighter were suppose to be launch titles. Can any nex gen console afford to have two to three year development times and survive? There is already talk of the PS3 replacing PS2 because broadband is not widely available yet. I want these great games but I dont want to wait two years for them who knows what will be the technological standard then.
