I came here in August 2k.

Used to be a frequent poster on the ugo forums, then one day posted in the Ps2 section where can I find a kick arse forum for Playstation 2. Someone replied with this sites url and thats my story :)

Within minutes of viewing the reply the thread was deleted by the ugo mod\'s.
I met him 15 years ago, I was told there was nothing left, no reason, no concious, no understanding and even the most rudamentory sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong, I met this 6 year old child with this blang pale emotionless face and, the blackest eyes, the devils eyes, I spent 8 years trying to reach him, and then another 7 trying to keep him locked up because I realised what was living behind that boys eyes was purly and simply evil.

I came to this site as Diamond Dallas Page and figured I would only post here a couple times to get my questions answered about my decision to get a PS2... I soon felt I related to a lot of the subjects... and felt a yearning to stick around... so one day in September, I decided to come back here... but I didn\'t like my name anymore, so I registered as Syxxkorn.  I felt welcomed, with a lot of questions approximatly a month before PS2\'s release.  Everybody helped me, and gradually developed a name for myslef... then came some of my darker days... I developed rivalries with fellow members, and people lost respect for me, and I became an enemy to some... so I ditched the site for a while... I couldn\'t resist coming back though... that\'s when my post craze took a sky high... I went around to sites get all the news I could on PS2 and people got angry... Things started cooling down... and my dark days were over...  I calmed down, the rivalries were over, and I started gaining respect... when I hit 1000 I wanted to ditch the account, but instead just asked the administrator to change my name and pic...  I started a new life here in December as "The One" Billy Gunn, with a new, more serious attitude.  My posting became above average... then pushing the limit... then spamming... but it quickly calmed down after talks with the mods...  People respected me, it felt good.  I was a dedicated member, when I was at the top of my game when... the forums broke down...  I checked here day in and day out... weeks passed... I gave up on the site... but then I came back and one day they were fixed... sorta... anyway, we had forums none the less...  I am was well remembered, respected, and took pride in my post, and that\'s when I decicated my nights to PSX2Central forums... and here I am... a Staff Member... with a long history here (okay 6 months...) and things are great...

that was an excerpt from the book "The History Of my Life on the PSX2Central Forums", go to your local book store to purchase the full 512 page book, published by Random House...

It was a dark stormy night.. It was foggy, and i couldn\'t see very far. There was a naked chick laying spread out..... Ohh sorry. This is the forum joining story.

Ok i joined along time ago. My reg date is about 5-6 months off. When my name was changed from nathan to SoulGrind the FIRST time i had to rereg, So i lost quite some time. I joined pretty much as soon as the forums started. It was UBB back then and the banning tables were so much easier to use. ;)

I became a mod when...... Well i can\'t remember. After awhile i became a admin. Then a mod.. Then a admin again.. Ohh the memories. :D

Hmmm... my joining in wasn\'t so long time ago, but I did lurk few weeks before registering \'tho. Then I decided to experience a forum community and decided to register ( as I was very interested about PS2 and this site was to my liking; and still is... the best! :) ) - I soon found the people here is very friendly and wise, and I made some friends. I think I haven\'t ever made any enemies \'tho...

So, I registered, and soon I got the nickname "crazy poster", as I posted like I had never posted before ( wich is true ;) ), as I found this a new way of life. I found my community.

Those were very happy days, when I still was a green fella; tater said I looked like his "left ball" if I remember right. I was happy about my pic, and I think I spammed then more than these days. But that\'s because I\'ve grown with the experience.

But life doesn\'t come without problems. I posted happily until I saw these forums were down and the site was in maintenance. I was so shocked I spilled some cola to my keyboard, and stains of it still remind me of the dark day...

Ah, of course I forgot to tell you about the conflict between good and evil, whom every regular may remember, and I became Darth Joyda as I now worship the dark masters ( and learned the forces of the Dark side... ). I changed my name to respect the principal, and my pic changed to the evil lurking eye...

Then came some trouble ( but I was depressed as everything in my life isn\'t ok right now.. but that ain\'t your business ). I won\'t dig that up - you can still smell it here \'tho.

Now I will continue to post respectful, long and ( I hope ) wise posts, and I will remain in my word not to spam ever. How will I survive? I have yet to see... :)

About a year and 3 months ago.  About 4 months after the site opened.

Hmm.
I came here around May or June of last year and looked at the news, occasionly looked at the threads, until in October someone kept posting about it only having two controller ports, so I registered and chimed in with ,"You know they could always just make a USB playstation controller and then you have four controller ports, without a multitap."
That was stomped on by all present, but I endured and continued to post, rarely, as my average posting since october is only 1.87(last I checked)posts a day.
I have been to other Forums since and they just....suck.
