Ok, Sorry for my rant. How long did it take you to mod your PS2 and what is the picture quality like now on DVDs
also is this a uk machine that you\'ve modded?

I have modded the UK version of the ps2 and it now works using RGB.  The picture quality is a lot sharper than component and I recommend you doing it if your are competant with soldering.  A easier way to ground (GND) the pin shown is to solder the wire you are using onto a grounding plate on the motherboard.  This plates look like a rectangle shaped flat bed of solder.

I also have an S-video lead and the picture quality is a lot better than composite, but i still get a little
dotcrawl. Mmm what to do?.?.?.?.?
