guess i should have reliezed it after there was no other "F" in the "FIX"

so if you ground that pin on the ps2 motherboard then rgb cables will work with ps2...I think that\'s what EYE is trying to get across..:D

No Billy, RGB is obtained through a scart lead. Mmm be nice to see if this works, anybody willing to sacrifice their PS2
in order to help us out.... i can do this modification no problem, it\'s just that i dont want to be the first person to try it
out and have a sizzling box of plastic and silicon sitting beneath my tv :D

Let us know if youv\'e tried this out. RGB playback on DVD\'s will be worth it

They never told $hit in the past...
I´ll "fix" my PS2 in 10 month - because of the warranty !

Mmmm, The warranty thing is kinda distracting eh? i am quite willing to do it though. well i\'ll probably wait for a while and see what occurs.
Also the wife helped me pay for it so i have to see what she thinks 1st, but i\'ll give it some thought.

Look at the picture! if you can\'t understand it then i suppose that you\'ve not done this sort of thing before...

Ok. look at the picture and locate the two points on the board marked by a red circle. the lower one is the GND
make sure you scratch off some of the green coating to reveal a metalic surface on which you can solder.
Look at the picture and you will see....

Stanzo,  I have so calm down.  Anyway, thanks for your interpretation of the diagram.  It is NOT a clear one if you are used to electronics.  I have now done the modification and I can announce that I am watching DVD through an RGB signal.
