My longest time was 16 hours. How did you manage not to fall asleep?

Have you heard about that Japanese manager who worked 14 days! straight? He died on day 14.

Give me a break.  I use to work in the news business and I have several times gone a week straight chasing hurricanes.  Sleep in the truck my friend when you can find the time.

The money is nice, but the oppertunity cost of more money weighed against staying in some of the god-awful places I\'ve worked just dosen\'t add up. I\'m the kind of guy who will work twice as hard just to get my **** done and get out of there before putting my full 8 hours in. When I worked at Maple Leaf, I\'d pop Stacker3\'s (Ultra powerful speeders) like they were shock tarts and end up getting my normally 8-10 hour job done in only 6. Before being transfered to the ovenroom, I ocassionally ran the machine which individually wraps the Chicken Corden Bleu\'s and Chicken Kiev\'s. I could reach clear across the table, pull product off the slide before it even hit the conveyer belt, and place it between the metal pieces on the track.. all at a speed of about 90 per second. I\'d run it like that for just about my entire shift, taking breaks only to change the gloves I\'d wear out or give the people down the line a little break.

Yeah, I know it dosen\'t sound like much.. but trust me, it was hard work and I don\'t think anyone in the factory has broken my record.

Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

I work at a company called "Ridderheims Delikatesser"
We sell and manufacture expensive food, russian caviar and stuff like that.
I´m the chief behind the computersystem running our handcomputers that is used in the warehouse. We us those computers to scan Bar-codes.
I was working in the warehouse because we had a new record of coming. And someone has to put the things together.
I got twice as much payed (30$)/hour.

I dont have the internal record, another guy working in the production worked for 38 hours.

is 15$ and hour good in Sweden?  Not sure how the exchange is.

By the way, whenever hurricanes would come to Florida we would all joke because that usually meant an extra couple grand.  I made 13 grand just in overtime in 6 months from those wonderful storms.  Other stuff too, but the storms were the bulk of it.
