Yes I am "seriouse". The PS2 has been out in the US for less than 7 months and your giddy about some plans for a chip 4, 5, or even 6 years down the line? In that case I am jubilant because I hear that some company is working on a rocket pack. Woo Hoo!! No more sharing of rockets for me!!! This rocket pack will be the true hanglider killer.  :rolleyes:

i really really dont care...as long as Square keep putting out top notch storylines...the power of the machine doesnt matter

then again...more power...the more possibilities they have for interaction etc.

Why am I a moron... or fanboy, because I called them insane for making inane comparisons between XB, and the chipset supposedly for PS3, a full generation ahead of XB or PS2? It was stupid, they were insane, and I\'m none of the above.

I am not quite sure why ANY   of you are trying to compare the PS3 chip--which we know so little about to the Xbox system. Is this a fair comparison? I mean, it will be a full generation ahead of the Xbox, not to mention, once again, we know extremely little about the chip.

Yes, it will be more powerful then the Xbox.
Yes, it will sell tons.

Now can we please go back to our normal PS2 lives and forget about the PS3 stuff?

like i said before, i posted htis for people that were interested in it, i have never spoken of PS3 stuff until this thread, im happy to know what we will be seing the future, but the key words there are "in the FUTURE"
right now im happy with what i have :)

I can understand posting news on the PS3 and looking foward to the future, but this has gotten out of hand. I\'ve seen a few times now, people calling the PS3 a "xbox killer" and then arguin\' about how powerful it will be or something.
That is just screwed up.

it was not a good idea because many newbies think that it will come very soon, and hook up to the ps2 or somthing... they get wrong impressions, so they argue..
but remember, they arent actually making the "cell" they are just thinking about it.

I wouldn\'t take anything Sony says about the next console as fact.  Remember when they said the PS2 is so advanced that they wouldn\'t have to release another console for 10 years?  George Lucas was saying how the PS2 was more powerful than the workstations used to make Phantom Menace, all bs!
