Sofar the most impressive thing Ive seen from E3 are the Halo videos - covenant corpses raining down moments after a grenade sends them skywards - its a shame that gamers are going to have to wait some time before being able to pick it up for the  PC (for format which will offer the best opportunities for proper online play with it) ahh well, until then its a very good reason to pickup a XBox. As for the other formats not that much has impressed me at E3, Ive yet to see any footage for the main PS2 titles I was hoping for and not that much for the GC at all, hopefully after E3s all wound up and the various press members get back to work proper we might get to see some of the cooler stuff which wasnt in the limelight.

I\'m suprised that so many people say Nintendo won E3 at all, in any forum / media... besides graphics...  Now, as far as showing NEW stuff, of course they won... But Sony surely won with pure numbers of original high quality titles.

Nintendo\'s showing was a disappointment, in my view, because they made so many decisions like Sega made last generation...  Shifting titles like Star Fox to other developers, making their next \'Mario\' game, not a platformer at all, and having countless N64 clones...

MS\'s showings were quite weak IMO, it sounds like quite a few things were downgraded, and the hardware isn\'t final?  C\'mon MS, another delay will hurt you bad.

Anyways, Sony had a lot of good titles at the show like MGS2, Jak and Daxter, Baldur\'s Gate DA, Red Faction, TMB, GT3, Klonoa 2, Herdy Gerdy, WipEout Fusion, Stuntman, Aliens Colonial Marines, Maximo, Tony Hawk 3, Madden, SSX Tricky, Devil May Cry, Spy Hunter, and Smuggler\'s Run 2, it\'s hard to argue with numbers like that I think...  (not saying numbers are what matters, to me all of those look like quite possible AAA titles)

I think sony won the show big time!!! :D and they have a good chance winning the console war with games like gt3, mgs2, ffx, the getaway. etc...

PS2, IMO.  BG, FFX etc. just cannot be beat.  I would have been disappointed with the Xbox\'s showing were it not for the insanely good "Ego".  I just couldn\'t get hyped about Nintendo and the Luigi game was hopelessly repetitious.

Sony, because no only did they take most of the attentin away from the Nintendo Microsoft rift, but the managed to wow the crowds and stunn quite a few people (MGS2 movie for example)....

On a whole all of the consoles are equal

what Nintendo out doing Microsoft with the launch date
Microsoft steeling some PS2 titles
And
Sony grabbing E3.

Ah  alll fair in love and COnsole WARs

After seeing footage of the Xbox games I was a little dissapointed. I really think GC did the best in balancing graphical capabilities. And seeing what I have so far just gets me so excited to see Mario and Zelda at space world.  PS2 in had the biggest quantity of blockbuster games, which will all be coming close to the launch of the other 2 boxes.  While Xbox is a dissapointment to me, I\'ll still pick one up if I have the money.  They did show quite a few exclusive titles, though some of them may not remain so.  Over all I  tie PS2 & GC, and Xbox a totally decent second.

He was pointing out that plenty of people buy a console for one game.

I would say X-box and Playstation2 won. X-box because it\'s new. PS2 probably because they are waiting to see what is new with it.
