The GL1 is a fine camera.  I just don\'t like the feel of it as much as the Sony.  I\'ve used both.  Video quality and features are negligable.  You just need to play with them.

No offense Gman, but I\'d take Videoholic\'s advice over J6P anyday. :)

I myself love JVC, I have one of their TVs and MiniDV cams, but the Sony does look like the better buy in this case.  A 1.5m CCD and a lesser price = a happy lionken + DV capture - analog connection \\ hassle :: 480i + pscan = alrite.
