As you know, I\'m studying english, a professional english level, and in the career, I have to write every 2 or 3 weeks an essay in order to check my level. And the problem is that these pieces of compositions are very very important, so I thought that many of you speak perfect english and you could help me before send it to my teacher. I know that´s no funny, but if you have time and wanna do it... I would be pleased to receive your help. Well, you could correct me bad expressions, spelling, and all you see that would be better. So I am going to copy here my first essay. It\'s a "informal letter", nothing special but really important for my career. Thanx friends. Here you are:
Dear Ash:
How are you? I hope fine. I’m sorry because I haven’t been in touch for such some months. The University has begun and now the work is hard. As you know, my computer is at home and I can’t read any e-mail till I arrive to Baños. Anyway. I’m trying to reply as soon as possible.
In the other hand, I liked very much your last postcard. The picture of Liverpool is great and it seems to be a nice sunny town. I should go over there some day…
Your idea of coming here, to Spain, is wonderful. This country is a big one so I have thought you might be interested to hear about the main places and buildings. This way, you and your family will enjoy the trip itself. Well, let’s begin:
Your first stop will be Madrid, logically after landing in the airport. Be sure to visit The Prado Museum, one of the best museums in the world, “Door of Alcalá” (a very famous place in Madrid), and, as a football fan you are, don’t forget to go to Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. It’s grandiose.
Later, you should go to Barcelona or Sevilla. They are the other two big cities in Spain after the capital, Madrid. Barcelona has got many modern houses and monuments. If you go there, don’t miss the cathedral that is under construction. In the other hand, Sevilla is the typical Spanish town. It has got hundreds of buildings, churches and famous places to visit and make a couple of photos in order to showing them to your friends. Remember to visit the cathedral, another great one.
I also know you are a nature lover. You shouldn’t forget to go to a famous and good sierra. It’s called Sierra Nevada, and there you will find an excellent snow to practice skiing. There are lots of places to go in Spain but these are the most important sites.
I hope you have liked this information. It’s short but very useful if you want to come here and visit Spain. It would be nice, not nice, great, that we could meet together when you come here. But I don’t know if you will stand here for a lot of time.
