no way to prove age or identity

all anyone would have to do is scan thier older brothers ID, and who would be the wiser?

Seriously though, I\'m sure there is soe way we can do the age verication thing short of a CC or similar.

I know from personal experience man. These ad companies WILL check up on you if you seem to be getting alot of hits (PSX2C does get a fair amount right?).  These people aren\'t dumbasses.  They\'ve learned from other websites.  One example would be me.. :).  I used to have a pro wrestling website that had like wrestling plus picture galleries of some of the ladies from wrestling.  This pics weren\'t nude or anything, just like bikinis, tight clothing, whatever.  We also had a bit of "mature content" at our so called forums.. minus any pictures being posted.  I guaran-damn-tee you that they will terminate your ad contract if more mature content is added.  Only if I had the email that was sent to me advising me what to take off or leave on my site.  

Oh well, no need to talk about it anymore as MM shot down the idea. It\'s cool.

Again I have to say that we aren\'t talking about posting illegal child porn here.  

Not only that, but all you need is anything stating that the person agreed that they are over 18 and you are not liable.  You need no proof.  Haven\'t you ever noticed all the nudie sites just ask you if your over 18, that\'s it.


We just want a place where we can tell a dirty joke and not have it deleted.

yea i feel that having the entry be by a few selecting the mature crowd and then also having a 18 or older warning before going into the forums at all time would be sufficent

Well I didn\'t realize how many adults posted here. I\'m only 15 (and proud of it), but I think that our senior citizens would want their own forums to escape my fellow adolescent friends stupidity.

Although I won\'t get in, I think an adult forum would make this place more popular.

Age verification? Send in your Social Security numbers or Credit Card Numbers, or something...

Or, are we just wasting our breath (....) cuz\' this will never take place?

A good idea,BUT useless in my opinion. 90% of the members are here to post and read info on PS2,  other consoles,games, etc.  It\'s just a luxury to have an Off Topic. I see no need in having a "mature" forum. If you want to tell dirty jokes and stuff. Start adding friends to your friend list and send em PM\'s.

ANd I\'m not knocking your idea. I just don\'t think we really need one myself.
