Come on Bozco. Watchdog isn\'t like that. 1. He doesn\'t back down from a debate. And 2. He isn\'t afraid to admit he was wrong if he is proven wrong. Nobody can be right all the time.
Anyways, I was just kidding around (notice the little wink (
) after the "well well well, look who was right?") I didn\'t mean anything by it. I don\'t even know if this proves that Sony is a bigger company. Sure, Sony got a lot more money in revenues that year ($66,158,400 compared to Microsoft\'s $22,956,000), but does that mean they are a bigger company finacially than Microsoft? I don\'t know. I think we need some real numbers of how much Sony is worth.
Watchdog, from those sites you posted, Microsoft is worth between 350 to 400 billion dollars. Now does anyone know where some real Sony numbers are?
*IronFist goes searching for the Sony statistics*
EDIT: from looking around, I think that Sony is worth only around 50 billion dollars. I haven\'t found anything official or anything, so I\'ll keep looking. But if that\'s true, wow, Microsoft blows Sony away!
EDIT: Ok, I found this info on Quicken.com:
Microsoft: $363,215,219
Sony: $42,433,037
It looks like there is more truth to that
http://xboxaddict.com/ article than some of us want to believe. Sony made 3 times more money than Microsoft did last year (which is understandable due to the slumping computer industry), but Microsoft still has 8 times as much money as Sony does.
Oh, and and Watchdog, well well well, look who was wrong.
