Watchdog, from those sites you posted, Microsoft is worth between 350 to 400 billion dollars.  Now does anyone know where some real Sony numbers are?

EDIT: from looking around, I think that Sony is worth only around 50 billion dollars.  I haven\'t found anything official or anything, so I\'ll keep looking.  But if that\'s true, wow, Microsoft blows Sony away! :)

EDIT:  Ok, I found this info on Quicken.com:
Microsoft: $363,215,219
Sony: $42,433,037

It looks like there is more truth to that http://xboxaddict.com/ article than some of us want to believe.  Sony made 3 times more money than Microsoft did last year (which is understandable due to the slumping computer industry), but Microsoft still has 8 times as much money as Sony does.

Oh, and and Watchdog, well well well, look who was wrong. ;)

I think your both embarrassing yourselves because ddarly that is a yearly rank. So that means how much money sony and MS maid that year.

You still fail to show what is both companys Total net worth. And that is what the topic was about TOTAL NET Worth. Which none of us on this forum no. What is sonys total net worth and what is ms total net worth. But I mean it really does not care both companys have more than enough money to survive 20 console generation and not make a single dime.

But nobody has proved anything the question still stands.

Microsoft Operating systems is on 85% of the worlds computers. Sony makes a lot of electronic gagets.

Those numbers rastalant and I posted are the companies total net worth.  I got my data from Quicken.com -- a well known and well respected stock market/financial site.  Microsoft has 8 times the money of Sony.  This debate is over.

I Cant believe you guys are arguing over this Bill gates himself is one of the Richest men in the world..

Sony sells more products then MicroSoft.. but all in all MS has alot more money then Sony .. ALOT..

The only competitor with MS would be Dell comp.
