Sure you can since it\'s common knowledge that every BB employee physically inspects each disk that they rent out, just as they do when they get it back.... right?  You guys do that so people can\'t say "I got it like that" doncha?

they dont inspect every disk, dolby

even i dont.  i open the case to make sure that the right disk is in there, AND its in one piece.  were far to busy to check the playing side of every disk coming in and going out.  its easier to just dispose of them when they get damaged and after two customer complaints

You lose so freaking much with pan and scan it\'s utterly ridiculous.  CUts where there aren\'t suppose to be cuts.  Stretched people, digital pans, UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT\'s awful.

Crap, I even hate the cropping HBO is doing on their High Definition channel and that is just cropping 2.35x1 to 16X9.  Even at that you are losing quite a bit of the image.

Well I guess I\'ve learned something today.  I can make a post about how women are idiots and not get any negetive feedback, and then I can make a post about how black bars arent a big deal and get freakin slammed for it.  Hehe, I love these forums.

Cant beat widescreen, maybe they should stop being cheap asses and by a decent TV
