Even though you say Clyde is the humorous side of your dynamic duo.. MM..

I\'d have to say that you are quite a bit funnier to me than that ape!

So cold.. so dark and coarse. No silly monkey is going to beat that!

random note...

most average people own a PC, doesn\'t take a THAT powerful of a machine to run it.

Decent Video Chip
800+ mhz comp
256 Ram(upgrade for dirt cheap)
and a gig

So rather than Shell out $200 for the system, just pick up the game.

Good grief, the last time I purchased a PC game the min. requirements were something like :

300mHz P2
64MB RAM
8meg graphics card

...and even that don\'t work on my comp... at least PhotoShop runs well, that\'s much more fun than any lame game :p

PC Morrowind > XB Morrowind

PC + Morrowind > X-Box + Morrowind

I see you can do sums:)...then PC + Quake3 arena > PS2 + Quake3 arena...so?

PC vs. XB -> Framerates, PC: Few and far between, XB: Like walking through a mine field.

if you develop XBox with PCs in mind...you get more from the best PCs...

Quote

PC vs. XB ->Replay, PC: Plugins can be downloaded from the internet, XB: Sorry, not yet. :(

you\'re right, not yet!:D...but it\'ll come...and you\'ll be able to link the XBox to your PC to download a lot of stuff...

Quote

PC vs. XB ->Controls, PC: ASDF works like a charm, XB: that brick M$ calls a controller can\'t win here.

I wanna remember you that XBox is a console...I prefer console-gaming and console\'s controller!...as most people here,I believe...

Quote

BizioEE, do you prefer better resolution and graphics, or does size mean much more to you?

do you mean blocky graphics with crappy animations overall? IMHO GT3 on PS2 still blows away every PC racing gaming graphically(overall) ---> polys, physics, animations, effects on polys(yes...physics and animations can\'t be escluded from graphics...as I mean graphics!)...but again...what I love in GT is the game-play,and you can give me all the racing games you want on PCs running at 1600X1200...but untill they don\'t give me the sensation of driving a real car,I\'ll continue to prefer GT(in this case)!

Gaming experience is not only FPS,rpg or simulations...can you realize that?  and...can you realize that PC is not > consoles? and that PCs and consoles are two different worlds?

ps: me will never prefer playing PC games in front of a little monitor 50 cm away!
if 1,2,5,10 games run faster on the best PCs it doesn\'t mean PCs>Consoles:p

100x better? ...

...you know It is a PC port and was not optimized for XBOX...
...if you develop XBox with PCs in mind...you only scratch the surface of XBox\'s power...

why XBox cannot handle a game of this depth?  obviously you\'re a XBox dev and have got all future dev tools...right?:)

Try to imagine this game ported on PS2 or GCN without optimizations?  Do we wanna laugh?

We\'ll see a lot of "tricks",new rendering techniques to squeeze all the power of all the next gen consoles and you can\'t expect great improvements in the first months of life of a console(in general)...

...for example the Polybumping technique saves tremendous amounts of space, bandwidth and processing time...

Who of you can see any difference between these two examples?

A game which utlizes this technology is coming to all platforms (Far Cry).

This technique allow you to reduce the geometry present in the pipeline and can save you from enormous amounts of memory and huge amounts of bandwidth and processing...
...and who knows how many new techniques we\'ll see...
...and all this to say that I prefer to see dev pushing a fixed hardware year after year more than wasting money to up-grade PCs to see a waste of power!

X-Box was a pure example, even on PS2 I\'d say Morrowind would run even worse.  But the point is, CELERON SUCKS!

celeron??
The XCPU is a modified P3...and it\'s very very good for the task it has to do...and the XBox,overall,is a very powerful and balanced piece of hardware...
The NV2a in the XBox is even capable of extra animations and physics,so that you can free the CPU from a lot of calculations...that\'s why the XBox does not require a 2 Ghz CPU...
...console are fixed hardware and can be fully pushed...while you will never see a game that pushes your beloved PC,no games will push a GF4...and no games will push a GF5...

mm,Console>PC !  :D ...from my point of view:)

Dang... people who wait for that are at a serious disadvantage, resulting in :

mm\'s porn collection > their collections combined?

What if surfing for porn with a pad? You have to use 2 hands most of the time! Okay... once again :

PCs > Consoles

Huh??? What\'s the hoo-haa with this game??? I already have it on the PC and it\'s utter loads of crap like the many PC RPG in the market....names u can\'t remember, ugly looking graphics, size too big for it\'s own good and it\'s a first person perspective game...yeuch.

I exchanged it for something better that very day itself.
