I saw a couple, but didn\'t see how many.  Will any of them make the team though?  Doubt many.

Bucs didnt need chris simms, they were just fine w/brad, I think they shoulda atleast tried to get a good rb, cause pittman just isnt gonna get the job done. Although they have improved their offensive line which was definetly needed.

  Brad had one of the best qb ratings last year, chris will probally play bench for a while.

Edit: Ugh......they\'re going to have the sack master Rob Johnson higher on the roster than Chris! Bad move by the Bucs imo.

Dude, rookies are a huge gamble their first season. I wouldn\'t hesistate to put in R. Johnson over a rookie, no matter how good the rook is. You have to gradually work them into the system, ala Michael Vick.

Rob Johnson is a complete joke.  Hell I don\'t know if I\'d put Shane Mathews in ahead of Rob.

We are alright on RB.  Pittman started to develop in the system late in the year.  It will be interesting what the Bucs do next year with the system being in place for a second year.  Barring injury, the bucs should be pretty darn good for the next two years at least.

Although their schedule is a toughy this year.

Rob Johnson is with the Redskins, isn\'t he?

There was no one that late in the draft that would have filled in well as a RB.  Simms isn\'t going to play right away anyway.  I think for where they took him, that was a good pick.

Colts got a TE, couple Safties, a LB, a couple OL guys and a DE.  Mike Doss in the 2nd round...just like I called it :)

BTW...unless I missed something, Chris Simms is not a good QB.  If you can\'t handle pressure in big games in college football, then what does that say about your chances in the NFL?  Ken Dorsey in the 7th round...bah stupid combine.
I have no signature...I rule.

Simms has a lot more talent than Dorsey.  He hasn\'t won the big game, but he has more ability to win games on the NFL level than Dorsey.

Tony, they\'ve been saying that about Simms since his Senior year in High School, and it ultimately cost Major Applewhite a chance to show what he was really made of.

The Prototype vision of the QB as a whole is pure shit. Winning a football game means nothing once the scouts check out in Indianapolis, and I personally think that\'s a crock of shit. If Ken Dorsey was apperantly struggling to throw 15 YARDS, would he have EVER been the starter at Miami? The answer is obviously no, and where they got that stat is absolutely ridiculous. Meanwhile, Chris Simms only true big win as a Texas starter was in Lincoln last year, which is saying something, because Nebraska was in a well-documented spiral at that point, losing by 33 to Penn State and 22 to Iowa State. Chris Simms has always been touted as the next coming of his father\'s greatness, but quite frankly, it\'s a crock of shit, and I was disgusted to hear that Ken Dorsey went in the 7th round. Since when does a 39-2 record as a starter at a major collegiate school not warrant a look, I\'ll never know. I guess you could ask Tommie Frazier the same question.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

No James, the prototypical quarterback thing actually has quite a bit to it.  The fact is, the competition at the pro level is very different from that at the college level.  And if you\'re some option quarterback who made a college career for himself as much with his legs as his arm, that might be a problem.  If you\'re a quarterback whose main claim to fame wasn\'t amazing plays, but rather leading the best and most talented squad in the nation to a good record, that might be a problem.  The fact is, physically, Ken Dorsey is not likely to make a good NFL QB.

Simms is a different case.  Physically, he can do it all.  His problem is his mental approach to the game.  The mistakes he makes.  And that isn\'t something you can measure.  It\'s also something that is more likely to be fixable.  It\'s not like Simms had an awful college career.  At least in the pros he won\'t have to play Oklahoma :)

Well one thing Mr. Dorsey has going for him is this list;
Montana, Young, Garcia....

He\'ll have ample time to mature, will be in a system with owens (if we don\'t lose him somehow), and he\'ll have incredible teachers...  but then again he could follow this list;
Bono, Drukenmiller, Carmazi, and other crap QB\'s that I won\'t list
