Well with no jobs in your area, these guys must have a really easy website to take care of.

In the town I live in, there are virtually no jobs available at that sorta low level.  The graduating high school class this year was like significantly larger than any other one, and thus the work force is larger than it usually is.  In my specific town, you really have to look for different kinds of jobs, or go into Albany to find something.

Welp, another reason to go to college.  I don\'t see how people can be successful in life without college anymore.  Surely there are some exceptions, but it\'s prety tough.

There is the difference , Vid. You are obviously adjusted to "city life" where almost any job requires a college eduction. In more rural area\'s, it isn\'t near as a big deal. Infact, I know plenty of people with college educations and they end up doin\' manual / menial labor, for various reasons ...The main reason is they don\'t want to move out of their home town or what not.

Me, personally, I don\'t have a college eduction. I wouldn\'t mind goin\' back to school and I have given it thought, but at this point, I have a job that isn\'t to bad, pays good and allows me a lot of free time.

Also, let\'s say some of us aren\'t lucky enough to receive scholarships or are able to pay for college in the first place, because all the scholarships are taken by smart white girls......j/k

How are they supposed to pay for it? A job at mcdonalds, burger king, etc...Lot\'s of students wind up doing that. Not b/c they\'re too lazy to go to college, but because it\'s the only way they can afford advancing on their education. Right now I need a job to feed my freaking dog! We just moved to a new house so we\'re still getting adjusted. There\'s hardly any money left and im pretty tired of sitting around doing nothing. That way I can bring my own income and don\'t have to stress my parents that much, except when borrowing the car.....

Anyone can go to college if they have enough desire to do so. There are tons of grants and scholarships available to people that wish to look for them. Loans are always an option also.

Kids today are looking for handouts straight out of highschool. Everyone wants to be the guy on the info-mercials that got rich by "tricks of the trade" But they dont want to work to achieve their dreams. The simple fact of it all is you can do anything you set your mind to do. You really can....

The first step is getting off your lazy ass and doing something about it. Where I live I used to go to day labor when I was a senior in highschool, the bums and whinos have no problems doing this to support there drug habits are there alcholism. Me and my friends would wonder to ourselves why do these men and women get up everyday just to come make 35-40 bucks a day? And do it almost everyday of the week?

They did it because it was the only way to get that cold 40 at the end of the day. Sure the average employer wouldn\'t hire them, but they found an alternative to supprt their addictions.

All I\'m saying, is if you want a job bad enough you can find one. Black, white, red, or purple. It makes no difference about race in these places. They just want people that will provide labor and get the job done.

The problem is everyone wants a job that they enjoy doing. You really think the garbage men that pick up your garbage on the corner get up every morning and say to themselves...
"I can\'t wait to get to the corner of so-and-so street so I can hop out and throw the garbage in the back of the truck! Man what a RUSH!"

I really doubt it, but they do what they have to do in order to support their families. Some people enjoy their jobs, some people hate their jobs, but the people that aren\'t lazy do things they don\'t want to do all of the time.

No..ppl become garbage men b/c they make $21 an hour to do shit. Hell, the trucks dont even put off odors like they used to back in the day. Half of these guys never have to get out of the truck now. I wish I could get into sanitation.

As has been stated before... FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS.  I put myself through college and am still paying back my loan debt.  You need to worry about graduating high school before worrying about getting into a college.
