I\'m guessing it was a marzipan decoration.  Bakers use that stuff to decorate cakes and make them look really smooth or they can fold it to make the cake look more like draped cloth.  Some candy makers use it to make little bon bons to look like miniturized fruits.

Hmm interesting.

Isnt it amazing how just looking at food the image of its taste just flows through your mind, even though you have just seen an illustration of some- no taste, or smell, or name.

Yeah nice to see people also liked the cake.. The thistles on the side of the cake are indeed "painted" using food dye and are 100% edible.

The thistles on the top of the cakes are small paper versions.


To no-one... yeah we can eat just about anything ... just as long as its deep fried and covered in batter ;).

and as for vivi picture... why would i hold a Frequently Asked Question session on my wedding day? ;)
