Well i know this is long over due but the Wife and myself would like to thank all the well wishers of the forum.

We had a superb time ...I mean we where only both up to 2:45am drinking and there was only two arrests. So it was a typical drunken Scottish wedding.

The whole wedding took place at New Lanark (birth place of the industrial revolution and starting point of workers rights). Both ceremony & reception  (which was a Baptist ceremony which is strange because I am roman catholic) anyway the ceremony went of with out a hitch.

Well that was until the reception started  and a friend of a friend of the family decided to get drunk and cause agro and was then asked by the hotel to leave… he did and tried to get a lift back home by knocking on a residents door …which then lead to a fight  ..which then lead to the police being called.

Luckily for both Susan and myself.. this happened out side of the hotel so we and our guests where spared the sight.

The meal and first half of the night reception was superb(the first dance was Richard Marx “Now and Forever”)

….well that was until one of my cousins (who was near leg-less) got into fight number 2 …. Again we were lucky it happened outside the hotel again…

Dude, why do you have to be such a prick?

Do you have to bring it up? He just got ****ing married and your sitting here *hinting* divorce.

Sure divorce rates are high, but that doesnt mean that people can still love eachother when they are married.

I think the last time I checked it was around the 65% range, for what that is worth.

The odd thing is, now\'a\'days people expect to get divorced at one time or another. Where as in previous decades people would get married, have kids and stay married, no matter what.

I am almost positive that if I ever get married, it will end in divorce.
