the 1400hp is prolly fake as u cant modify the f1 engines at all.
and yes the polyphony  cars are the same what i dont get is why some cars are 790hp and some are 829hp.
as for the tyres i think coz polyphony had some problems with FIA licensing thats they couldnt put as much as they would\'ve wanted to.

If you take a new F1 car, do a few laps and then change the oil you\'ll have 829hp. Be warned though, I managed to do 1000km in one of my cars without changing the oil, my horsepower dropped by 84 and never came back, I permanantly damaged my car (FTO Race Car).

Doesn\'t matter too much though, I have two more!

That\'s what I thought. There could be room for liars on that site but most wouldn\'t.

You can usually tell how much more you can get out of a car, but 20secs more seems like a piss-take really.

Edit : I\'ve just noticed, I have another star and I\'m now an old member, wooohooooo. I really must do some work now!

Makaveli - Had a look at my times for the Complex String last night and I must say, Christ I have to get a steering wheel!

3:27.147

I know where I can make up about 2 seconds, but the other two?????? Maybe Santa\'ll bring me a wheel for Christmas, loads of people are saying it\'s the only way to go.

I\'m gonna give it another go. But without traction control and I\'m gonna tinker with the springs and what not to try and reduce the oversteer/understeer, and just generally give be a better drive. So I can have a crack at beating that 3.07.

You use traction control? That\'s the first thing I turn off on all my cars, I can\'t stand something else being in control of my throttle.

I\'m probably one of the best at GT3 here,  so take my advice:

If you\'re serious about getting the best lap times use standard transmission as I do.

And if you don\'t believe me I will just have to prove it to you when GT4 is released.

I use manual transmission. Works for me. I also use the traction control because on most of my cars, I spin out. Its my approach though, its all wrong.

Yep. Maybe I should change the ASM & TC in the opposite direction. :p
