all the star wars joints are overrated..the only one that was good was return of the jedi...one sci-fi movie that is good is alien..and aliens...

Flashy things arn\'t the only things I like. Enjoyment factor is the big thing for me. Script, director, acting, etc are all factors for enjoyment, but let\'s take Torque. Horrible script, etc but I enjoyed it. I\'m not saying it\'s a great movie I\'m just saying I enjoyed watching it.

Part 1 i hated, part 2 was decent.. Hopefully part 3 is good.

Well I hope there is but back when Lucas was making EP1 he said he wouldn\'t new a trilogy after the OT (4-6). Would be cool, the stories are already written and they are pretty good. All though there is no way Mark Hammil could play Luke, he\'s so old now, plus Carrie Fisher. Harrison Ford could probably pull it off but it would be weird.

I guess none of you have seen what Lucas has done to the original trilogy for DVD have you? You know, replacing Shaw\'s head in ROTJ with Hayden\'s and what not....Basically, removing original actors from the original trilogy, so he can splice in the new actors from the prequels.

I really think Lucas is making Ep. 1-3 for himself, and doesnt really care what anybody thinks of them. As long as he\'s happy, he could care less.

All Star Wars and DVD sites have confirmed it. There is some serious editing and additions to the so called "original trilogy", just so he can fit it in with the prequels. This includes new effects and deleting some actors and digitally replacing them with the newer actors in the prequels, including Anakin and the Emporer.

I know I\'m going off the deep end that\'s becuase I\'m tired of people slamming lucas for dumbass reasons. Lucas did a great job building up anakin into becoming Darth Vader, no matter what anybody says. Flat acting?! Ha whatever. I\'d like to see that critic do a better job on protraying the anger and confusion and hate inside anakin. The last scene, battle of genosis(SP) was awsome.

You know what I like you we have many similar belifs btw Matrix rocked and yes your right sit back and enjoy the flipin movie but to say the cgi was awsome! I mean Jar Jar seriouly just about ruined the first one for me. Thourh bits and peices in there so we cqnt tell its there then it rocks.

You know what, I won\'t complain about too much CGI (though I do think it is over-used), I however, will complain about the terrible acting and downright hideious storyline in 1 & II .. As for Matrix, when you watch the first one and compare it to the other two, it\'s painfully obvious, just like Star Wars, it was not planned to have sequels, despite what the directors may say.

Im a huge Matrix fan just like most tech headed geeks, and in order I would have to say it goes Matrix 1, 3 and then 2. as for Star Wars it prolly goes in order for me 4, 5, 6, 1 and then 2. Doesnt leave much hope for number 3.

as for my previouse statement kudos to luke for even being able to understand what I type for kryps sake!
