Yeah you ve got a point there.Although I personally found MGS2 when it came out in 2001 greately evolved over MGS1.
Unfortunately it seems outdated compared to newer titles that came later and it was short.

MGS3 shouldnt have been released on PS2 I believe. It had some nice ideas but they didnt get the treatment they should have had probably because of hardware limitations and previous MGS gameplay mechanisms.

I d like to see some original creative titles from him as well

I actually did not mean it in such a negative sense.  MS, is by far the best when it comes to online structure... I believe.

Keep one thing in mind, I am from South Africa and don\'t have broad band here, so to me online is non-exsistent.  You guys in the US and UK think you get it bad, games take forever to get from Japan to the ntsc/uc and PAL regions, etc.   Our PAL releases are later than your PAL releases, we don\'t get half the stuff you guys get, no online (as mentioned), Gamecube has now been dicontinued (so no Zelda for me), The PSP might be here in December, There has never been Xbox in SA (everything is imported illegally)... man, you guys have no idea:p

Back to MS, so as you can see, Halo2, Forza, etc (which I have imported) means nothing to me without LIVE support.  Most of the games on the Xbox with good single player games is available on the PS2.  The only ones that come to mind that make it worthwhile to me is Dead or Alive 3 and Ninja Gaiden, that\'s it.  So I really enjoy the PS2 and Gamecube.

Anyway, enough blabbery from me:D
A word of advice:

In the working world there is only two ships that sink: 1.) a Battle ship, and 2.) Partnership

I agree MS and  Xbox does have some improving to do.

It does suck having to wait for those games and the lack of broadband.
