everyone knows the ps3 is going to pick up steam at some point. it\'s right now that it\'s taking the heat.

and i waited for gears of war to get the 360. kind of before because i had madden 07 and burnout as my only games for a bit.

i cant wait till the ps3 is worth getting, but right now im loving the 360 this fall/winter. assassins creed, army of two, (ace combat), call of duty 4, (mass effect), GTA, nhl 08, fifa 08, quake wars, brothers in arms, mercenaries 2. and the decent/rentable ones like bioshock, medal of honor, area 51. A lot of those are on ps3, so good for their library as well but still no incentive to get one if you have a 360

lol like enough of them shooter games there? thats one thing that bugs me about this gen so many damn games are FPS... and they all like to think they are bringing something new to the table >.> its all the same stuff

Thats why im not getting area 51, medal of honor, bioshock, and mercenaries 2. Its because they can finally make a good FPS on consoles. Before i\'d never even think about buying an FPS on console, but now, r6: vegas is the most played game i have.

but assassins creed has some new gameplay, mass effect is a lot more than just a shooter, and GTA is too. Only thing im worried about in GTA is that they get so real that it gets stupid. I felt they had a nice balance between fake and real, but now theyre adding you limping when you get shot, holding ur arm, etc.

The shooters im getting out of those are army of tw, quake wars and brothers in arms. Iv been loving coop shooters so i think army of two will be pretty damn fun since that\'s the point of the game. Quake wars is like battlefield meets quake, sounds good to me. and brothers in arms looks pretty awesome..forgot call of duty 4, which i might get instead of army of two if it turns out not as good as i think

I dont know if MGS4 can become a system seller since there are many elements that can contribute other than quality, but what I know for sure is that it should be a reason to get a PS3 and I am sure thats what Knotter ment. "Can" and "should" arent the same thing. And this game deserves it.

Awesome visual presentation, probably superb gameplay, great ideas and execution, and a very well done art direction. It looks unique in its own way. It doesnt seem to follow the typical stereotype and cliche\' rules other games are following IMO. It is trying to blend creativity and trademark elements of the series that too many think are weird to exist for something that it is supposed to be a game.
