None of them are that funny, sadly. Dropping the \'f\' bomb and making poop jokes, does not equal humor.

the constant cussing does start to get stale, but i did quite enjoy the reviews like the virtual boy because i didn\'t know much about this virtual boy and stuffs and he does get in depth about it, and he even did a mini reviews of each games on that console.

But I find it interesting that he record those videogames into a dvd recorder.  I thought it would have been simplier if he recorded it on a MiniDV camcorder input.  And use the firewire to transfer the video into the computer for editing and encoding...it should be easier that way.

If the MiniDV doesn\'t have the input that he wants like the analog RF coaxial, then use a converter box or just connect the Analog RF coaxial to the VCR, and connect the RCA cables to the VCR output and to the miniDV input should do too...

DVD recorder does the tricks too, but once recorded to the Disc, i think its more inconvenient to ripped a/v files off the disc and into the computer for editing.  it might uses more softwares to do the audio/video conversion too...also, dvd has a higher compression ratio than miniDV.  But low resolution videogames shouldn\'t matter much though.  But the inconvenient of multiple conversion could be a pain in the neck.

nvm, according to the FAQ with Q&A, i realized he recorded to a dvd disc first.  then play it back on the dvd player or recorder, and connect that dvd player to the MiniDV input, and output it via firewire...which does works too.

Quote
Q: How do you record your game footage?

A: All my game clips are recording to DVD, while I\'m playing them. After i\'m done, I just playback the DVD
in a DVD player that\'s connected to my computer (through a DV camera) So the DVD player connects to
the camera, and the camera connects to the computer. That\'s how I go from RCA to Firewire. And I capture
with Final Cut Pro using the option "non-controllable device" so it doesnt\' look for timecode from a DV tape.

There are also programs made for ripping DVD\'s, but I don\'t use them, because they don\'t do a good job, they
take a long time, and when I import the footage into Final Cut, I have to render it first. So in the long run, it takes more time.
