Sorry, this Sega fan has to disagree with the others. The Saturn left a bad taste in my mouth. I love the system with all my heart, particularly for games like Fire Pro, Strikers, and the Panzer series... but it upset me a bit. I spent $400 on launch for the Saturn. I bought the games, and there were some masterpieces. I love the Virtua Cops, the Panzer Dragoons, etc. Pure Sega bliss.
But, then, Sega walked away. I understand that they had too. But it was a little upsetting spending that big chunk o change. Sega should do the Saturn fans a favor, and rerelease some of the rare titles. That way, people will stop screwing us over on eBay. Maybe Sega could put their feelers out there, just to see how many people are interested. Yeah, I was disappointed with Saturns failure. I was disappointed that Sega really had no true Genesis follow up. It pisses me off. The Genesis was a great system, and they didn\'t capitalize on it. The Dreamcast is fantastic, but because of the mistakes by guys like Kalinsky, many people are passing it by. And thats a shame. But I can\'t blame them. I almost passed the Dreamcast by, until my friend showed me movies of the games. Once I saw the games, I bought an import system before launch and a domestic at launch. But I\'ll never stop wondering "what could have been" with the Saturn. A 2D beast that coulda given us some amazing titles... without suffering rape at the hands of the pages of eBay. Dreamcast\'s 2D is just the tip of the iceberg that Saturn could have given us. Damn.
