Be sure you have made it quite high on my list, rigth off the bat nonttheless!
Why is Sega selling their hardware at 150? It has been out longer than a year. It originally sold for 200. The question really is, is why are Sony and Nintendo still selling their 5 year old hardware at $100? If it came out at 300 al la PS2, than I would be worried.
Why are some games selling for 20 dollars? They are called All-Stars. Why are Sony classics selling for 20 on PSX? Oh, the PSX must not have been a success because I see tons of 20 dollar software.
Sega is worrying? please give me a link where they say this? Please, indulge me.
Hmm, since Sega is as old as Sony is, and has been making videogames for MUCH longer than Sony and Nintendo, I will have to say quite a long time. DC has sold 3 million consoles first year. No console has ever done that. Why do you think, now that PS2 is out, people will just abandon it? That is got to be the dumbest thing I have heard all week!
Why will DC be but a memory, 182ways? I know I will be playing mine for years down the road. Even if by some strange phenomenon, it stopped, I would still have aboroud 50 good quality games to play.
Why does everyone count DC out? Nintendo stayed alive drudging just about every series they had back onto N64. It looks like Sega is doing it, quite sucessfully, might I add. Don\'t say DC is going to be eclipsed. You really don\'t know. I didn\'t think anything of SOnys success with the PSX first year. Then I saw Twisted Metal. Sega and Nintendo made some bonehead mistakes. Sony is not going to be that lucky this time. Sony may eclipse DC\'s sales by the time X-Box comes out, then GC will come out. Both with a truckload to mow over even the PS2\'s ridiculous hype (Toy Story like graphics?
). $500 million is alot, and that is just Microsoft.
You may be singing a different tune, such as the one I am singing, when X-Box comes out and sells out first months. Than you will have to put up with the same bull**** that I have to, defending the console of your choice.
You are not off to a good start, but welcome to the forums, may you stay here and learn much about gaming!
