iok EthuGG, I will admit it is my oppinion that windows is **** but I do program OS\'s not windows or anything major but I do know how, and I got an open end linux which meens I can program it the way I want to make it work for what I need it for, and in my oppinion linux is much more stable then windows which most people will agree with me on, but at the same time windows ha much more support from developers, hence gamers do not get linux cause they games are not supported my linux, but I think it is gay to have these argument, just get what you want and support what you want, this way everyone is happy

If you crash twice a day, YOU have problems. Win98 is fine in my opinion, that doesn\'t make your opinion fact. I run a ftp, a website, do a lot of multimedia things, and play a lot of games on my computer. I leave it on 24/7. nI use Win98 and have a prob once, maybe twice a week, and 90% of the time, it\'s because I\'m doing 10 things at once, so don\'t tell me Win98 is a ****ty OS. If it doesn\'t serve your purposes, don\'t use it, but quit your ****ing whining pussy.

They stole the OS from Steve Jobs, not Xerox. MS released a piece of **** cause they can. What didn\'t I answer? And you didn\'t explain what you meant with IE either....

I think we should stop arguing about this, we are gamers and we buy the things that appeal to us, and if you want to use windows then that\'s cool, but for some of us it doesn\'t siut us just as Mac or Linux doesn\'t siut all people either, and as for games and consoles, get the one that appeals to you in that perspective also

CAUSE THEY ARE A MONOLOPLY! If they screw up or not make something good only the consumer loses, not them beacuse nobody is going to make something better.

Sorry, but companies that have lots of competition still release ****ty products sometimes. It has nothing to do with a monopoly. I haven\'t lost this argument chrono, so until you give up, or the thread is closed/deleted, it\'s still on!

I\'ve just figured out that no matter what I say you are still not going to agree that micrsoft is a monopoly... people like you are not worth my time and for some reason I forget that. MS is a monoloply the govement said so you seem to be one of the few people who think they are not. Stop cloging up the forum this argument is OVER

The government says a lot of things, so what? The argument wasn\'t supposed to be about monopolies or even windows, but about Square, and their impact on XB. I stand by my arguments that I\'ve made and will add 1 thing. I had said before that no one console will dominate. I said that with the belief that Square was Sony exclusive and that EA would do little things for XB  but nothing major. If Square switched sides, it\'d change everything. XB had more going for it than PS2 ports. If they snagged any exclusives from Square, they\'d have a big advanage, unlike before when I said everything would even out and they\'d split the mass market evenly. The MS side would have more going for it if it happened. Thats all Im saying.
