Road Runner is awesome. 3mb\\sec(3megabytes per second) goodness. IMO most DSL sucks, you get no where near the speeds of cable.

P.S. I usually get d/l speeds of 200k-400k, but it really depends on the server more than anything. Thats why I love IGN. They\'re fast. Real fast. :)

Well, for me DirecPC was really the only way to go. I could of got a dedicated 128K ISDN line, but it wouldn\'t be worth it.

DirecPC is by the same makers of DirecTV, you  mount a DSS and then run it to a USB modem, which you run to a USB port. From there it connects to your standard ISP, then it takes the 56k signal, relys it out to the satelite and then it sends it back. You can get 400k downloads easy that way, and up to 1.4 megs with a great signal. It is perfect for anyone who can\'t get any other form of broadband service.
