EB sucks big time!!!!!

LOL !! nahhh people i talk about videogames normaly know what they talk about ! exept one !! i asked him if he was ever gonna sell PS2 games ! and he said ! nahh its not worth it , i am waithing for the Xbox , its gonna be alot better ! i was like  ( store clerk got fingered )

Jebus, I feel sorry for you guys. From what you\'ve said the guy who works at the electronics department of my local Target knows more about video games than these guys.

I\'ve had probs with EB a month ago.... I called them to ask if they had ZOE and he said they have it and it was 60 dollars...... I told my mom afterward (she was gonna buy the game) and she said, "no way I\'m buying that." then when we got there I looked at the price to expect to see sixty but it said fifty and wa-la I have the game! Me a happy fool!

EB, Fry\'s..... all these stores are mostly filled with retardsas employees!

i think that preordering stuff online is much better... pay the extra bit and get 2nd day shpping and have it two days after its realsed... heck, it might even be cheaper!

Yeah true, EB the store is good.... and the employees are friendly enough.... but damn they need to do their research..

STILL though, a shop formerly in the city but it got closed down, Games\'R\'us is the LORD of shoddy dealing. Absolute tools over there.

And this time, not only did the employees suck (one in particular), but the store sucked too. Firstly, they ordered what they wanted based on the worker\'s opinions. I\'ll mever forget going into there, to ask about their psx merchandise. I quickly received this as an answer "playstation??? We don\'t stock playstation, it\'s just  a quick fad... a load of rubbish. The sega saturn will bury it, there\'s absolutely no point whatsoever in stocking playstation.....we support the saturn fully, it will dominated for years to come".

Cawww... so anyway, psx is riding it\'s success, and a few years have passed. I think saturn had already been off the market at this stage, and the N64 was due to come out soon, and was receiving plenty of hype. I asked about their N64 merchandise..

"No way will we stock N64.... it\'s a load of rubbish, Nintendo have never done well, and predict never will. So we\'re just going to stick to playstation". (btw, this was the same employee as last time)

he obviously fell asleep during nintendo\'s decade of dominance.... the fewl. Well, the store closed down... as you might expect.... and I don\'t know what happened to the employees

Yeah I have to agree. The EB that I frequent has very knowledgeable and objective staff.  From my experience with this particular EB, I have found the staff to be very up-to-date on the latest gaming info, and quick to dispel common misconceptions that some of their customers bring with them.

It is guaranteed that inept boobs are peppered through all walks of life, and often times are employed to interact with the general public. No surprise there.

Well i never really liked EB but thats not because of the store i just think of them as a good PC place not really for consoles - but that  may be because of the set up they have here

I actually prefer to shop there over Babbages (Software Etc.), its just that the employees are all dunderpaits.  EVERY LAST ONE OF \'EM.

But then again, this is the case in all game stores.

to talk about idiot employees at neborhod videogame stores i had an incident around november 2000, well here it goes

my brothers and i walked into the local funcoland to look at some new info on the ps2 that just launched and was selling like hotcakes. i wanted to look at ratings for some of the games i would want to put on my x mas list the store manager, with a go-te came over and said,
"Hey youre looking at ps2 stuff?"
"yeah."

"why?"
"um, because it is the most powerful system ever released and they are selling so fast they cant make enough of them. im interested "
"the dreamcast is so much better.why look at the ps2 when the dreamcast is out? i mean look at this game!!"
he points to the dreamcast\'s screen.
"look at those graphics. its a faster and better looking fighter than TTT is."
"oh really."(without enthusiasm)
"look kid, if youre gonna get a ps2 there is no point, dreamcast is online already and has a huge userbase. their library of games is amazing!!! there is no point in getting the ps2 unless you want it for a DVD player. and if you want a dvd player, you could get a better one for 1/2 the price down at that best buy down the road"
dreamcast is soo much more powerful and better than that ps2 youre looking at.

i looked up from the magazine i was holding.
"oh really, then why has the ps2 sold the most amount of units at launch of any console to date? why is it can the ps2 pump out 6+ times the number of polygons in game as the dreamcast? after that incedent i told my brother no to repeat those words at home.

i had many incounters with idots at videogame stores. that one was the worst with the language, he mustve gotten pretty pissed at me.
i wanted to go back to that store a couple of days to tell him the # of gt3 sales in 48 hrs.
but i couldnt, i dont have a car
that was one of my incidents not a very funny one, but one where the employee was  an idiot :smokin:
