Dinosaur Planet looks like  Pokemon.

So are you saying Jak and Dexter are NOT kiddie? I don\'t quite understand.

BTW, I don\'t know what pokemon you have been playing but pass it on.

To each his own;

I\'ve been watching TechTV .. And these are a few of the games I\'ve managed to take a glimpse @.

Halo - Sue me, it looked ok. Not only was the framerate @ 30 (we all know the arguments) but it also dropped from time to time. Disappointing for me, and I never cared for Halo.

Luigi\'s Mansion - Saw it for like 30 seconds maybe? .. Looked nice. Again, I wasn\'t blown away, but the lighting was amazing. I just wonder how fun sucking ghosts into a vacuum is gonna be. The rooms in the mansion have lots of little detail and look very promising.

Jak and Dakster - They showed it briefly, for like 20 seconds if anything.. and despite what all you haters out there say, this game looks nice. The enviroments are huge and have tons of stuff going on. Framerate is 60 w/o a hitch, and the character animations are very smooth. Lighting looked great as well. Can\'t comment much on the textures, what they showed looked dark and not very vivid.

FFX - They had an interview with a representative from Square.. during the little talk she was playing FFX, and it too looked great. Nothing really that we haven\'t seen already. The transition to battles looked kinda neat, and it didn\'t take long @ all to load. The screen shatters as the battle starts.. and from what I can tell the game is running @ a lovely 60fps. :D They showed a few summons and that\'s about it. Can\'t really comment too much.

The point of my post was that people are dissing Jak and Dakster when I think the game looks damn nice. I was working yesterday and I didn\'t even know TechTV was covering E3 (doh!) ... I didn\'t work today so luckilly I can watch and tape whatever they show of e3 today. The show begins like in 4 hrs so I can\'t wait to watch.

I\'ll post some impressions later of whatever they show. They just showed Abe (for xbox) -- right now -- looked good. :) (60fps too) Incase you haven\'t noticed framerate is very important to me.

...why are you so obsessed by PS2 (potentially) beautiful games?  ...you said Naughty Dog game could turn out to be good like any other game ...Jak and Daxter is NOW a beautiful 3D platform game with a fully realized world, excellent characters, perfect control and cleverly designed and varied puzzles...and it could turn out to be one of the most wonderful Platform ever !

Look at what Dave Zdyrko(ps2.ign) think about this game :

""Simply put, Jak and Daxter is one of the best controlling 3D platform games that I\'ve had a chance to play. The precision of movement is just about as perfect as you can get and all of this is made even better because the animation of Jak and Daxter is as fluid as we\'ve ever seen in any videogame. There\'s never a single point in the animation of the character that you will notice a missing key frame, as everything seamlessly flows together.

The extra playtime with the newer build of the game also gave me a better chance to check out more of the game\'s 3D world, which proved to be even more massively scaled than I had previously thought. Naughty Dog has created this huge 3D world where the entire game takes place. There aren\'t different areas for each of the worlds like in most games of this type, instead everything in the world is right there in front of you.""

""So, what you\'re getting with Jak and Daxter is a beautiful 3D platform game with a fully realized world, excellent characters, perfect control and cleverly designed and varied puzzles. While I don\'t want to begin hyping the game too early, but this has the potential to be one of the best 3D platform games of all time. It\'s already a substantial improvement over any of Naughty Dog\'s Crash games on PlayStation and looks to have what it takes to go up against the likes of Mario, Sonic, or Spyro in the 3D platform genre.""

The Game has a Great Potential so don\'t be a Troll and admit it !   (no offense)
He has the power of both worlds
Girl: What power… beyond my expectations?
AND IT\'S PERSONAL
Demon: No… the legendary Sparda!?
Dante: You\'re right, but I\'m his son Dante!

I personally am not amazed with the GameCube as much as I am with the Xbox. WaveRace looks like poo-poo in my opinion and I\'m tired of the pre-rendered Metriod stuff they have been showing. The rest of the games look good, like Lugi\'s Mansion, the lighting effects are awesome. But still, I haven\'t seen anything that just screams "buy me". I\'m hoping Capcom will show us Resident Evil Zero before the end of E3, that will be the one title that makes me purchase a GC.

It hasn\'t lived up to my expectations *so far*, but there is alot of time for Nintendo to show some killer games. And either way, I\'ll end up buying one.
