sound tasty, if I were you would sacrafice some CPU speed (take a 1ghz instead of 1.2ghz) for a 3d card upgrade. Seriously, my gf256 isn\'t cutting it anymore, get a gf3!

Our comp\'s very very old. It was fine when there were no interesting games for the PC. But things have changed! There are so many games for me out there :/ Our stupid ancient machine can\'t even play games from the year 1998!! And when it comes to internet... well our modem\'s 28.8. Whoo.

I\'m thinking about buying more space... I bought a game yesterday that said it only needed 100MB hard drive space, when in reality it\'s much much more!! I\'ve tried deleting just about everything. Still not enough. So Joyda tell me how much does it cost to buy more space. Because u & I share the same currency.

At this point of my life money\'s no issue cause I\'m gonna graduate saturday & get loadsa money :D Maybe I\'ll buy a new comp too!

hey smalllady, you\'re gonna graduate, congrats on that, I am gonna graduate soon too, I have only two more exams to go (thursday and friday) and than I will be graduated (I hope),.....boy it would sure suck if I weren\'t gonna, but I have good hopes......anyways darth, buy that computer, if you wait too long, it\'s never gonna happen, at least that\'s what happened to me, my dad has been thinking about buying a new pc for over a year now, but it just doesn\'t happen

Congrats Smallady, just buy  a new 20 gig 7200rmp HDD, they ain\'t that expensive. Here in singapore they are abot 120 - 140 singapore dollar :)

I was quietly impressed untill I saw the video card. Sorry to dampen the party, but the GeForce2 MX (confusingly named GeForce256 MX, by Asus) simply doesn\'t fit among all the other high end specs. Assuming that the funds are available, I recommend an immediate upgrade to a GeForce2 GTS or Ultra.

Maybe they just don\'t intend to play alot of games on it.

If so I\'d recommend getting a Matrox card,for the 2d quality.

But I have to agree,get a newer card.

Joyda, if you putting this together yourself or having it put together, then I would suggest bumping the Athlon up to a C class supporting 266fsb.  Also bump the RAM up to PC2100 DDR.  DDR is cheap

Yes Joyda,the GF.2 Pro is a good card,you should be a happy gamer.

But don\'t use the drivers that come with the card,use the detonator drivers from nVidia,they are a heck of alot better and Creative\'s drivers can be a pain in the ol\'behind.

I am a happy gamer... and I will be a happy gamer...

now I\'ll just have hard times on deciding wich game to buy to pc and wich to ps2 ( wich leads to more money-spending wich leads to empty wallet wich leads to depression wich leads to fear wich leads to the dark side! )...

But at the time i\'m waiting forward to Max Payne and Duke Nukem Forever, and I can be sure that they\'ll run on my PC ( oh and I forgot to mention Return to Castle Wolfenstein! )
