I\'m really tired of this crap!

I don\'t know if any of you ever vist the Cloudchaser forums at forums.cloudchaser.com. But anyway christ I can\'t believe some of the people there mainly people in the gamingnoise and Sony room. Despite PS2 having a great E3 according to the majority of sites and people, alot of people still go off and say PS2 sucks X-box rules and we all know how crappy it\'s E3 was. You got some people that just like to ***** about every PS2 game sucking,no matter what they find something wrong and blow it out of porportion. Like one guy said yeah Red Faction is ok but the AI sucks so bad that the game sucks. Ok I read alot of reviews on Red Faction all of which gave it high marks of either 8-9.5/10 and I have played it but some of these guys like to go against the grain. He\'s like oh what happen with the toy story graphics or the gameplay that was supposed to tap into my brain:rolleyes: Then goes on about halo and X-Box and of course Halo does not look like toy story nor does the gameplay totaly revolutionize games.

I just think some people are expecting gameplay to take a huge leap like last gen. Well last gen was different because 3D was new but now this gen it\'s more like 3D is evoulving(spelling) while gameplay is pretty much the same. Of course graphics offer new realizim but is the gameplay drasticaly differnet from last gen? I guess alot of people are going to be disappointed this gen when they find out that most games are not living up to their expectations of gameplay. As I said this gen is just uping the graphics big time moreso than gameplay. Kind of like the 16-bit gen when the gameplay was not drasticaly different than 8-bit but the graphics were greatly improved 2D. Sorry about the rant but it waspissing me off. I feel much better now:)

Well CC is alright the warroom and nintendo is the better of the forums. But the sony sega and every other one just suck monkey balls.It\'s so bad it\'s not funny if one person says PS2 has great games here comes a X-Box boy saying well god damnit we have halo and munch and jetgrindfuture. but then I tell them that MGS2 (which most speculated as coming to X-Box soon) is PS2 exclusive for a year or more they say well it sucked anyway:rolleyes:. Or even when they thought VF4 was coming to x-box then I said that also is exclusive for a year or more. All of a sudden it sucks or hey I can wait.

I\'m not saying X-Box in anyway sux but they are sounding worse than PS2 fanboys last year when they claimed E3 was dominated by PS2. I could give them links to whre alot of sites said nintendo and PS2 did great at E3 while X-Box was disappointing but they say well um those guys must be sony or nintendo fanboys:rolleyes:

I haven\'t visited the cloudchaser forums in a long time... might check\'em out for a laugh. Yes, the only thing fanboys are good for is that you can freely laugh at their expense. Most of the time they just piss off people tho\'.

I totally agree with you mate. This generation is about combining the gameplay style of Playstation games with the quality graphics of PC game. When my mate sees me playing my Playstation he goes on and on about how crap the graphics are etc. I tell him that the gameplay is better than PC games cos everything is easy to run, nice joypad etc, no configuring stuff. Now with the PS2 he can\'t say f**k. Cos now I have the best of both worlds. Graphics and gamplay
