How many want to see a Transformers game...
« on: May 28, 2001, 02:40:22 PM »
I would like to see an Original Transformers game, none of this beast wars crap. With the graphical capabilities of the PS2, they could make a great game!! WHOS WITH ME!??!?!?!?

Do you not think that transformers is a bit dated?? The game would look 100 times better than the actual cartoon did!!

Yes,we must have a new Transformers game.

Mmm\'hmm. I want a Transformers game and I want a THUNDERCATS game . I\'d like both to be developed by Capcom, if at all possible.

Pleaseeeeeeeee, Santa?

"Snarf, snarf, me not want a Thundercats game, me just want a Cheetarra game!"

BAD SNARF!!  Stop humping Panthro\'s leg!!

One question; why was Megatron a huge robot that shrank to a tiny gun?  HOW?

Anyway, yeah, we need \'em both, even if a large group of gamers can\'t even remember \'em.

I also think maybe a strategy game based on Starblazers is needed.  Strategy or a flight-shooter.  Sumpin\' dammit!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Transformers was my FAVOURITE show when i was a kid. I saw every episode a ton of times, saw the movie MORE times, and had a huuuge container full of transformers

ahhhh those were the days... I\'d DEFINITELY like to see a game on it, I can still remember everything about it

Beast Wars was okay, beast machines was better, but hot damn the original was just too awesome.

Never made sense to me either, until one episode they said how the transformers all had "resizing chips". The chip was able to shrik him as he transformed so he could be a handgun. Pretty cool stuff :D
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

Yes,the Transformers had some nice little thingies that gave them the ability to resize while they were transforming.

Optimus Prime? Goldbug? Why are these names suddenly popping into my mind? (<- rhetorical question)

Yes I would love to see the old Transformers again. I started hating \'em all after that beast-crap started hitting the stores (stinky-poo). One video clip I saw of Twisted Metal Black brought back some fond memories as a dar transformed into a big robot in the fly... *snif*

Now I just wonder : what the hell happened to all my Transformers toys, comics and such... one day, they just disappeared. I can remember how much fun the toys were. Some of the transformations were actually quite tricky and really needed some practisin\'. I luv\'d \'em all! Bring \'em back!

Yes - but they could use cell shading techniques in Jet Grind Radio and Klonoa 2 - then it would be just like playing the cartoon.

I\'d love a Transformers game, but only if a top development team makes it and does justice to that great cartoon. A third person shooter/driving game would be great. Half twisted metal, half syphon filter.

yeah, how they\'d do the game is a bit of a question. I suppose cell shading would be the only way to capture the cartoon feel again, but still something would seem wrong about it. And I would be REALLY annoyed if the game was screwed up by whoever made it. I agree, only a top development house should be allowed to touch it (if it were to happen :D ).

Only if they have Starscream in it.  Starscream rocked.
