I havent been that much of a FF player, but I am actually excited about the deployment of this game. I think it is going to be on my list of games to get.

AGREED. I hated that as well hey, it was just an all round irritating idea. I liked the way they did it in FFIX, the emphasis was on buying but you could also synthesize for Zidane if necessary or you had the stuff.

But weapons purely on synthing them was so bloody frustrating... i went through FFVIII with a grand total of 3 weapons for squall, that\'s all. FFVII did it best... I\'mm with you vivi they should go back to that... i hope they\'re going back to that...

i am doubtful...this game seams to be more like FF8...something which is NOT good...everyone wants this game to be the FF7 of the PS2...but i am doubtfull...but there is still no way in hell i am NOT buying this game...even if i am suspicious of its qualities

Well even if this game turns out like FF8 i will still buy it just to add to my collection of FF games and all

but i love FF for the story not the gameplay anyway

Actually, the latest word from Square is that FFX won\'t hit the US until early 2002.

Words cannot describe how much I don\'t want to play this game. Yes, it looks great. But if it\'s anything like FFVII I\'ll pass. To boring for my taste.

FF7 was one of the best RPGs ever. The gameplay and the fighting system was a revolution.
