Of the few I\'ve played, I would choose Dynasty Warriors 2 or SSX.

The only others I\'ve played though are like Street Fighter, ATV Something, Madden, NHL, and some racing game...

Haven\'t tried Onimusha yet, I hear that\'s pretty good...

ok this is what i would choose for your friend

DO NOT GET SSX!

because the SSX DVD will be coming out and whats the point of having 2 ssx\'s?

i would definatly recommend Red Faction, or Z.O.E.
GT3 is coming out in a few weeks and TMB in lik 3 weeks, o ther eis a grip of games ot choose from.

Nah, dont get ZOE, it sucks, its so repetitive.

If u wait a month or so, get GT3, otherwise, it depends whether u are after multiplayer or single player type games.

Multiplayer: Timesplitters, no questions asked
Single: SSX or Red Faction

Yeah ZOE was repetitive but it was fun to bash stuff and blow the hell out of things... it was pretty cool.

I would recommend getting, in this order.

1)     Red Faction
2)     Dynasty Warriors (kick ass game if you ask me)
3)     Smugglers Run.....
....................
