GT3 steering wheel sells bigtime
« on: May 29, 2001, 07:39:10 PM »
well this is just the beginning of add-ons selling big for PS2,the GT3 Force has proven an add-on can sell at high demand,i can\'t wait until the online adapter and drive to become available, they will sell very well too (egg on face anyone who doubts me :clown: ),i\'m sure those will coincide with games like this wheel for GT3 has done...

yeah, i think that 1 wheel has been sold for every 3  gt3 games, which is a really good ratio especially considering the number of games sold.
Hopefully the network adapter will pull a similar ratio to consoles

A steering wheel is not an add-on, it\'s an accessory. You don\'t need one to play a game, which makes it just an accessory(like the rumble pack for the N64). This proves absolutely nothing about the future possibilities of add-on sales.

It\'s still pretty impressive though that a basic steering wheel can generate such high sales.

Well I used a handheld wheel for GT on the PSX and I would never go back to the DS .

but the Logitech Forcefeedback wheel will IMO incredibly heighten the whole GT3 experience

It\'s not wierd. Just different. I think if some of there "wierd" games got released over here they would be really good, but we will probably never know.

Had a steering wheel and it was awsome.  The only problem was that if you had it on a small table, in front of you, your back got sore and if you had it place under your legs then it felt like if you are driving a tractor.

Anyway, I think this wheel should be a good one!!

Doen it actually pull to like it does in arcades or does it only vibrate???

I meant different. I didn\'t mean weird in a negative way.

ok,it\'s not a add-on if you get specific about it,but it\'s going to cost as much as one,but i think of it as an add-on because to play the game as meant to be,this is the accessory to own for the game...period.
