Yes it\'s true. Silent Hill 2 is going to be released in august in Japan (already confirmed) and september here. Look like it will come out before the Xbox version. I promised myself I would get the Ps2 version. http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filters/products/0,11114,437029,00.html

I\'m getting the XB version anyways.  I can wait for the enhanced version. I don\'t see why you felt it necessary to add it would be out before the Xbox version, I thought everyone knew that already...

Thanks for the info. AM.  I don\'t know if I\'ll get it.  There are two games (1I am hoping will come out this year).  But  I also want MGS2.

I will buy this game eventually, when it comes out.  I saw some shots, and I cant believe how bloody, and Hannable Lector kinda stuff it has in it.  Rated M im sure, no doubt.

Iam kinda like ethugg. I would rent the ps2 version and buy the xbox.

But since games like these have no replay value with me. Ill just rent one.


I still think xbox will have better versions of nfl2k series,dino crisis 3,d.o.a3.

even mgs2,silent hill but never get any creadit cause people have already played the ps2 version.

like mgs for pc with sidewinder pad is better than pxs version. So is tony hawk 2.

to there are ways to give the illusion of AA,without having to take cuts in performance,and some developers are are taking advantage of themhowever ,until SOny comes up with a specific and easy ways to implement true AA that dosent take major hits on performance,you probably wont be seeing a huge number of games take advantage of it.

Dino Crisis 3 and DOA3 are exclusive to the Xbox.

Ummm... yes, it\'s exclusive. SHX will be \'enhanced\' (not my words, the developers) over the PS2 version. Does that mean graphicswise? Likely. Extra stuff, like a directors cut? Unlikely, but either way, if you are getting a XB it\'s better to wait 2 months and get the better version...

Enjoy the PS2 version. I have nothing against it or anything...

No way iam buying 2 versions of the same game.Ill buy whatever is better for me. I still might pass on xbox.

Iam not happy with having to wait till 2k3 for online.I also prefer the ps2 controller.But id go for better graphics and extras. THAT Guy making it, did say the xbox version of sh2 would have exclusive content.

Why would you buy both? If I had known XB would get Onimusha, I\'d have waited. I\'d rather spend my cash on other exclusive PS2 games than one i\'ll end up buying again on XB.
