THERE WILL BE A NEW ENGINE IN SMACKDOWN! JUST BRING IT FOR THE PLAYSTATION 2.

This is confirmed from the Gameinformer Magazine go to this site for pics with info with it. http://www.geocities.com/wwfwrestlinggamesrus/gipics.html
As confirmed from the Gameinformer Magazine article, Smackdown does have a new engine.....This is what Gameinformer said...."Although it certainly retains much of the flavor found in the franchise, Just Bring It has an entirely new engine that is in all ways superior."

So this is what I\'m specualting is that the engine we saw at E3 was the Smackdown 2 engine just to show off what you can expect from Smackdown just bring it, instead of using the new engine to show it off. And the reason they can add alot more modes to this engine, is because this is Yukes 3rd wrestling title while Anchor has it\'s first wrestling title.

Gameinformer said.......
New Engine as said above.
A ref will be in the game, "EARL HEBNER"
Gameinformer mention that it couldn\'t list all the features in Smackdown becuz it was to long.
Environments will be highly detailed, and expansive as well.
Waiting for Load times when a match goes up to the entrance ramp to the stage will be a thing of the past.
Should you go backstage, players will note that these areas are all at least twice the size of those on Playstation, and with atleast twice interactive events and objects.
Characters will have 1,300 polygons per wrestler.
You will also witness chests heaving from exhaustion and the appropriate muscles as moves are performing.
Yukes undertook motion-capture sessions to make all the games animation that much more fluid and realistic.
For more info read the above link above.

This really is shaping up to be an awesome game! I know I can\'t wait.... ironic it is cos we\'ll get it down here about 7 years after the rest of the world gets it.... *sigh* :(

anyhoo, I like the idea of a ref being present... I can\'t wait to disrupt many a title fight by knocking out the ref... :D
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.
