Dynasty Warrios 2

Dudes, i just picked this game up the other day ( i know i am a bit late but i just got my PS2 2 months ago and was busey with other games ) but i am crazy about it... so far it is my favourate game even better than onimushi.

Why? well OK... first of all Onimushi is impresive in graphics but it is stil not a true 3D render.. u can\'t move around as you like and u feel like being in a 2D world..

And the fighting in Dynasty Warrios is just sooo crazy with 30 or more soldiers in the screen at once, hacking and slashing your way through, also not forgeting to help your own tropps fello officers when they are in trouble. and the bosses ( enemy troop leaders ) are really kewl too..

Had any body played it? I think the review in IGN sucked, they only gave it 7.5 out of 10, that was really cruel.. it should get at least 8.5..

Ok .. so this is not really news, but wondering who else bought it and what you thought of this game ( or even just rented it )...

Did you guys like it tooo??? are you enthusiastic about dynasty wrrios 3 this chrismace? ( hmm propably more intrested in MGS2 by that time i guess but just giving it a shot hehe ). I head you can could ride elephants in DW3 not just horses.. that would kick ass right? hehe..

I rented that game not long ago and it kicked big ass..   I love riding on horesback, etc....thats one of the best games I have rented.

what\'s stopped you from buying it? so far i am in my third day and i don\'t have any idea when i will get bored of it ( so far i am at stage 3 ) and i hear there are lots of characters to unlock and stuff..

The only thing keeping me from buying it is, well, I aint got any money right now, and I am not old enough to get a damn job though,that really sux,  but yeah, I would buy it if I could...
By the way, where in the hell did those elephants come from?

How old are you exactly? Don\'t worry...I\'m sure you\'ll be able to get yourself a job soon (you might accidentally find yourself spending your job money on a girl, and we all know how expensive girls are).


That game gets pretty addictive. Sometimes it gets repetitive and I have to turn it off. But then I find myself playing it again a short time later...

I am only 14, but in my own opinion I think I act more of an adult than most teens, , but really, I dont want anyone treating me any differently than anyone else on this forum.

I got the game.Bought it since last October,still playing ocassionally.I too thinks this is one of the best beat them up games on ps2.

If you wants to stop enemy reinforcements,assinate the gate captains.

You can block and counter attack too,and if you want your bodyguards to maintain health,you have to frequently eat the onions which can be found on generals 7 men bodyguards.

If you complete the mission with your bodyguards alive,they will increase in ranks and fighting ability.

yea this game is awesome

and the replayability is really high - i find my self going back to play this game time and time again

i can\'t wait till DW3 hits the stores and now i will get to play with a friend - thats awesome - its only so long now before i get to have bunches of fun all over again

But i have to say level 3 is pretty hard, i keep dying in the begining. i am starting to question the chick that i choose as my hero, maybe i should have gotten some other hero...

Any body knows how to unlock characters in the game? i want to play as Lu Bu , he is really tough , sometimes he wipes me out and like all my army... he is one tough nut to crack..

any body finished it yet? ( without gameshark offcourse )

Dood...unless you don\'t live in a neighborhood with trees, most of my money at that time in my life came from doing yardwork for the neighbors.  Raking leaves, cleaning gutters (on single-stories), --- and *this* time of the year...mowing lawns!!! etc. was an easy way to make some quick cash...especially at homes that belonged to really older folks that can\'t do such work very easily.  I was always amazed at how well they\'d pay.

I remember using my computer printer to make a flyer offering my services & including my phone number then sticking them in all the neighbor\'s screendoors, etc.  Again, good money available for a 14 year old...just something to think about.

Hmm.. i thought about this one too.. the only way to explain the presence of elephants would be that DW3 will include some battales in the area where india meets china... or maybe some of the dynasties have occupied india at some point. who knows, maybe in some provinces of south chinna there would be some elephants, or that some people actually tried to raise some elephants in chinna, or it could all be just fantasy, however most of the stuff in DW2 was actually related to real battels so i think propably they would not want to display innaccurate informatiom, at least try to stick to historical information.

Actually, i have been trying to avoid playing more DW2 since two days, as i end up staying to late at night and having problems waking up for work.. it\'s that adicting for me.. and looks like with all the work to do to unlock all the characters and max-out all their attributes, this is going to take a hell lot of time...  and this guy Lu Bu is just imposible... i can\'t beleave how strong he is.

soon, i want to get my hands on GT3, then i will go complettly crazy and maybe take a vacation or something ( it\'s about time already, it\'s summer time dudes.. ).

hey i don\'t know if you knew this but in order to get throgh those hard levels - like the third one you have to do this

First you must build up your character - thats what the free mode is for - you go and start free mode and win a battle in one of the older levels with the character you had before - therefore you become a lot stronger and what not, making it easier to get through the later levels - you are gonna have to play a couple of levels and save it - then after you do this go back to Musou mode and restart the level you are on - you can not load a save on that level or your skill won\'t go up -

as for Lu Bu - after you get stronger you will find it a lot easier to kill him but if you want to kill him the first time you are gonna have to be lucky - first clear all his guards out and let your army come in and try to kill him - then while they distract him shoot him up with arrows - now this is very cheap way an takes sometime but it how i killed him the first time
