...Odd, I was going to say the almost the same thing. I was going to say Goldneye and Smash Bros. I\'m chosing Goldneye over PD  because me and all my friends put a lot more hours into it than Perfect Dark. PD ia great but Goldeneye was better at the time. If I had to pick one then it would be Goldeneye with Smash Bros coming in a close second.

I\'d have to opt for PD over goldeneye, even though goldeneye was better at the time, we still crack out PD every now and then to have multiplayers, it\'s just so much fun. Everything you could want in the goldeneye multiplayer improved was improved, and it was just all round fun.

Also, this isn\'t really multiplayer, but getting a bunch of mates around and having 8 man team battles in tekken, right from tekken 2 to TTT. LOTS of hours put into that, and it was just fun.

Also, WWF wrestlemania 2000. WCW vs. nWo revenge was better at the time, but in the end WWF wrestlemania was bettter (both games on N64 made by THQ). We put HOURS and HOURS into that game, and it was a damn lot of fun.
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

I can understand it. At the time goldeneye was like a revolution. Never had a console FPS been so fun not only in single player, but so damn comprehensive in multiplayer. If you ever wanted multiplayer fragging fun it was off to your PC, but Goldeneye changed that and gave a WELL above average offering to consoles.

Though PD improved in MANY aspects, it was not the revolution that goldeneye has almost unexpectedly delivered.

I would say StarSiege for PC, yeah, it\'s not a console, but it was still fun :D
