Nintendo lines it self up for a head on collission with the European Consumer Trade Show.

Nintendo recently announced the dates for it\'s upcoming European trade show, called The Nintendo Show. The show will occur on September 1st and 2nd. This is the same weekend as the European Consumer Trade Show. The first day of the show will be invitation only and day two will be open to anyone with an ECTS pass. Nintendo\'s MD of sales and marketing, David Gosen, had this to say:

"The Nintendo Show will be a unique experience. The response we have received from E3 has been overwhelmingly positive and the manner in which we unveil our new offer to the European audience will be sight not to be missed."

Max says: What\'s this? The Nintendo show?!? Looks like Nintendo may be taking Europe a little more seriously this round in the console wars. Good deal too, anticipation for GBA & GameCube is already building around the world, albeit slowly up to now. Nintendo\'s own show, showcasing its own products will definitely help build awareness in Europe. Hopefully, Nintendo will have a few more playable units - Nintendo\'s booth at E3 was almost too crowded!

So Nintendo is having there own European trade show? That is pretty interesting.

BTW, PlanetGamecube used FGN Online as a source.

GameCube is a jewel...I\'m sure Nintendo hold the trump card ;)
He has the power of both worlds
Girl: What power… beyond my expectations?
AND IT\'S PERSONAL
Demon: No… the legendary Sparda!?
Dante: You\'re right, but I\'m his son Dante!

Well, I certainly hope that Nintendo shows some new info on GC (I doubt it, but you can always hope).  It will be some what of a waste if nothing new is shown.
It seems as if the people [casual gamers] that we consider to know absolutely nothing are the ones that actually know the most important thing: Name brands don\'t make the console, games do.

Well, I\'m pretty sure the Show is scheduled for shortly after SpaceWorld, so there probably won\'t be much info to be had by then, aside from European dates and prices.  Expect lots of playable games and follow-up impressions, though.
