Some of you know this I am sure, but I found some info on the sequel to The Matrix.  They have the same characters as before(the ones who survived)  It will pick up where Neo was seen ?flying?  The original agents show up again.  And there is a rumor going on about a fight seen with Neo and the Leader of the Agency in the air.  Yes you thought he died but he didn\'t I guess.  And after Matrix 2 there will be a Matrix 3 only 3 will be a love story between Morpheus and I think Brandy.  Just thought you would like to know.  And I think you might finally see The Matrix.

IMO Matrix 2 might slip and slide and fall down.  Anyway reply please and give your thoughts.

I hope 2 and 3 make alot of $$$$ they Better be good!  I guess it will depend on what comes out on the same weekend...and such........i\'ll be going to watch 2......anyone have a URL for the matrix 2?

I\'m sorta computer nerd and love some of the really good effects in the first movie and hope to see more effects in the 2nd and 3rd.

The only thing I hated was the story was hard to follow.  I thought it was.

Matrix 2 has a big hype to fulfill - and it will have a hard time keeping its promises...

Films like Matrix don\'t happen every year. It was something really cool when it came out - there was something new in it. Matrix 2 has to keep the freshness, and it will be one hard task. If Matrix 2 is like Matrix, but with few different twists, it\'s not going to be praised.

Matrix is also unique movie - and should\'ve been left as it is. Second part can ruin the reputation of the serie - or then again - make the reputation even larger and better :)

Hopefully, in the attempt to further capitalize on the successful Matrix name, they recapture the same elements that made the original a success, other than offer an half-hearted/watered-down cash-grab. In terms of story line, they could have ended the Matrix without suggesting a sequel with Neo flying off, and the original would not have suffered in the least. I hope that 2 and 3 are as successful, but I fear that they might go the way of many follow-ups...

Darth is right; they are going to be some pretty big shoes to fill.

yea i just don\'t see how they will try to compare to the first one which i thought was a great movie mostly because it made you think - that could be real- and stuff like that - just like those kinds of movies

i don\'t think that this next movie will have that feel to it

The sequel, no matter how good it is, will most likely not live up the original IMO. Here\'s why..

Aside from a good plot, decent acting, and amazing special effects, the first Matrix film did something a movie rarely does. Expand the Imagination. It made you question reality in a way that almost noone does.. and for a few mintues, made you contemplate the meaning what you\'ve always held the most sacred.. reality. It\'s like seeing a magic act. You know that there\'s a trick to it.. but there\'s a moment when logic drops away and a crack opens. And through that crack all the light.. all the possiblities flood through.

It\'s going to be very difficult to give the same experience now that we know what to expect, now that the big secret has been revealed. It\'s the same as seeing that same magic trick, but this time knowing how it\'s done. You\'ll appreceate the skill in which it\'s preformed, but the "magic" is gone.

The Matrix sequels would be much better if Jet Li stars in them, like the original plan. But the cheap Wachowski brothers refused to pay him $6 million for TWO sequels. Can you believe this??? Keanu Reeves stands to make more than that for ONE movie alone. And you know Li would\'ve been a better character than Neo, whether as a good guy or an Agent or whatever. And Li possesses real martial arts skills. Dang, that would\'ve been kick-a$$. Just imagine a co-star receiving more applause and attention than the leading man. :laughing:

I heard they signed Bond babe, Michelle Yeoh but I haven\'t seen her name mentioned in any news.

No problem Adan.  This is the only movie so far I know the most about.  Duke Nukem might be another one.  Rumor character to play the Big D is Dolph Lundgren.  If he spikes his hair, bulks up a little more, has some big weapons you got Duke.  Don\'t know much more than that if the movie is produced.
